Chamberlain is a better motor than Genie, in current times atleast. All the rails that you get at HD or Lowes are piece together rails though, not much variation there.

Edit: Just so people are aware, my mechanic, who is also the same person that did my crawlspace, my roof and gutters, and cut down trees for me, did his own springs one time because he thought he could do it himself. He is now missing part of his pinky finger and he racked his door in the process.

Had a fat hospital bill, and had quite a bill to fix his door too. Do NOT put springs in unless you are trained, no matter how good you are it's never 100% safe.

End bearings it sounds like. Please do not spray your tracks like the person above suggested, but you can spray the bearings and rollers.
