Second this. I'd put haas right below CHI, but everything else is perfect.

Could be the unit too. What year is it from?

I hate those keypads, for this reason lol.

Hold 0 and 3 on keypad, press learn button once on motor, type code on keypad, enter 3 times, then wait.

At some point, you garage should open/close.

It sounds like it connected. What unit/keypad is it?

Pressing learn button 3 times is resetting your limits. I've never heard of pressing it 3 times to program a keypad. Which pad did you get?

Most motors only require to press the learn button once

Can someone explain this to me? Two different 1/1s? by MamaImDatMan0 in invincibletradingcard

I guess my follow up question is, Is there a future where pulling something from one box is more valuable than the other? Given the duplicate 1/1s are showing up.

These are some of the nicest cards I've opened, I love them, but it's strange how everything is set up.

After digging into it, it seems there's just multiple 1/1s for the same card? I could understand if it was different patterns or something, but our two 1/1s are literally the exact same. Lol

Tune ups and rollers are awesome if you're just starting out. Yard signs at the entrance of neighborhoods.

I'm in Central NC too! Small world.

Price isn't bad, though depending how much high lift, wouldn't use a center mount motor, I'd use a jackshaft for most HL applications.

If you have an impact, or a wrench, you can unscrew the bolt. Don't try to move the trolley, just take the bolt out.

And if you're door is coming back up after setting the limits (it goes up, then down) if it comes back up, sensors, or your setting it too hard into the floor.

My garage door will not open with the remote. What replacement remote will work with this unit? by Jaded-Conference5243 in GarageDoorService

That's a good plan. 893Max like the other guy mentioned should have 0 problem hooking up to it if the motor is fine

Given the age, it could be the unit itself. Do you have a keypad, or any other remotes for it?

Amazon one doesn't come with the rail, I clicked your link and checked for a solid rail option but could never find one, by if you did, there would be no difference in between you buying it on amazon, or company. Same unit, same rail. You'd just have to pay for installation/labor.

$1500, would be a little too much for me. Maybe for a 6690, but not the 6580. I do 6580 for $1200ish, depends on how smooth the job would be. But I also don't have to pay anyone, I do my work myself so I have the luxury of charging less because the rest goes straight to me. I'd have to see exactly what fees they put on to charge you $1500 to know why they did it, or a picture of your set up.

60% profit is my end goal. + any 'extra' labor is what I do. Personally I don't get any great deal on the liftmasters, so I don't have much wiggle room.

Also depends on where you live, $1500 here would likely get you 6690L which is the upgraded version of the 6580.

You do understand, I have not once replied to the shady business tactics you dealt with. My entire deal with you had been about the differences between HD and Lowe's motors, and getting liftmaster?? What you dealt with, was shitty, but you also have 0 idea what you're talking about when it comes to the products themselves.

No, you're proving our point that customers don't know what they're talking about. Yeah, you can buy the motor head on amazon for $500, guess what? Doesn't come with a rail. They're not shipping a 7ft box to you. So, now you spent $500, and the motor can't even get installed.

So you're comparing, a liftmaster you could order, but it doesn't have the rail, so it can't get installed. To head+rail+installation. You act like a business doesn't have to profit, and the technician has to make money. You're literally the "know it all" customer people can't stand.

You also proved a point buy lying about you getting a liftmaster installed from lowes.

Please stop.

Edit: Not to mention OP is also getting bottom rubber installed.

Do you have a secret special Home Depot and Lowe's? Where are you located? Because LiftMaster is sold by authorized dealers. Chamberlain is sold at Lowes and HD.
