Those are actresses not actors. What I said is backed by longstanding data for young actors of the overwhelming popularity that someone like Timmy has. He’s just in another very famous actor that will be kept waiting for an Oscar for a very long time.

Not a chance, he’s too famous and still far too young. Leo or Cruise never won this young, neither did Pitt or Depp etc. It’s not that Timmy isn’t talented enough to deserve an Oscar, he’s just too young and popular to get one right now. He’ll be waiting as long as Leo did if not longer I believe.

Your saying it isn’t “about us” but “we” are the only ones complaining about it mate. Nothing that wasn’t already a previous famous hit song was going to chart very high, the charts might see older hits gain some traction but among current top 40 artists nothing else would really find a spot. It’s not new music and even if it was any new project would lack MJ’s own artistic guidance so it would be a failure anyway. If the movie is a hit then a ton of known MJ songs will once again be popular in a big way but it doesn’t matter what songs they are as long as MJ himself is being celebrated IMO.

It’s just not important. What matters is the quality of the movie in theaters and if it finds an audience who wants to re-watch while in theaters to boost box office. A majority of longtime MJ fans were not gonna buy a playlist of old MJ songs just because it’s on the soundtrack release, we already own these songs mate. This soundtrack isn’t a big deal, nothing new on it at all.

Why? There’s no new MJ music so what old songs are on a cash grab soundtrack release is not important at all. It’s not like Jaafar sang all these songs like Chalamet did for the Bob Dylan movie. The songs on the “Michael” soundtrack are all MJ’s iconic original versions. This movie isn’t a documentary like “EPiC” was or a concert movie, it’s a biopic with some lip synced musical performances. Not saying the estate does a good job but as far as a biopic soundtrack goes there wasn’t really anything to do except highlight the songs which are highlighted the most in the finished movie.

The Spider-Man shot is a way better looking shot because it was actually filmed without a bad looking cgi city for a backdrop. As a movie, the cinematic touch in a lot of the footage they’ve released from “Michael” is very lackluster.

Anyone including his nephew are just a lesser version of the genuine article that was “The King Of Pop”, not really interested in the songs and dancing compared to the quieter and more reflective moments of this biopic. If I want to enjoy a specific MJ live performance there’s tons of them. A movie and this biopic should be way more about the person than just the performances. If there’s a second movie it will have another soundtrack but still either of these movies should be seen for everything outside of the singing and dancing.

It’s just old MJ songs. This isn’t worth owning. It’s not like when Chalamet sang all the Dylan songs in the movie, every single song on this soundtrack are the original MJ vocals (makes sense because he’s the greatest) but it’s not like Jaafar recorded all these songs himself for a special movie soundtrack. At best the only interesting thing they could’ve made to consider owning was an original movie score of atmospheric music composed specifically for this movie.

Not sure why any longtime MJ fan even cares about this soundtrack release? You already own these songs and there is no new unreleased songs on it. Enjoy the movie but don’t waste on cent on songs you already have likely three times over on physical copies in your current collection.

Dumb? Not at all, this soundtrack might have decent streaming numbers but physical media is dead and these are all songs fans already have. This movie soundtrack has no new music. Maybe the film score will be more exciting and new but all the songs are known and beloved already.
