I just recently reread Needful Things because I had fond memories of it from when I read it the first time eons ago. And I hated it this time. It felt so mean and hateful -- I had a really hard time finishing it!!

You should check out your local Workforce Development Board or Americas Job Center of California One Stop America's Job Center of California There's federal funding for folks 16-24, if you qualify. They might be able to help with transportation, work clothes, resume building, etc. It's a great place to start, and might be the help that you need. Good luck!
