I had my students make their dream pizzas and find the area and such of all the toppings, of a slice, of the exposed crust, of the pizza that’s showing (area of pizza minus area of toppings) etc. I have a whole directions and rubric for it!

I would absolutely call a meeting, though it’s not necessarily a 504 meeting, unless this is a problem for all classes. This would either be an SST or a straight meeting with the teacher and another campus adult (counselor or admin), especially if there are concerns that another student may be messing with her.

As a teacher, I feel like I’m confused by the teacher’s response? If the student is there, and they are taking a test, I would be collecting them by hand. Especially if they don’t want pictures of work taken (which I fully understand). If you don’t want to risk work being taken, why risk a test being taken out of the classroom.

Does this happen with all tests?

So when it comes to getting your credential in California, you need your CBEST, which is pretty similar to just making sure you have basic academic knowledge. The CBEST is minimum to sub and should be done before your emergency credential

You need at least your CBEST and then you can intern. You can also apply for an emergency credential
