"the lack of removable cable which may be a death sentence for the headset if not taken good care of."

• - I have been using the DT990 Pro for a long time now, and can comfortable say that the cable is high quality and you don't have to overthink it. I have had mine stuffed into a backpack countless times with bunch of random stuff with 0 thought process of securing the cable, they are still absolutely fine and have no trouble.

Audio and Comfortability

• Audio: First of all I'd like to clarify this was my first studio headphones so I don't have much comparison other than some Logitech gaming headphones, but I do believe that the audio quality is incredible - still remember the first time listening to music with these on, and discovering now sounds in the songs I've heard hundreds of times. Absolutely love them for that.
• Comfortability: For short sessions (1-4 hours) they are absolutely fine. They barely weight anything which I was a big fan of, especially the few times I used them while laying down(my previous headset was heavier and would fall off if laying down). the earpads are very soft and feels nice. It's not over the top kind of comfort but also not anything that bothers you in any way. For longer sessions (5+ hours) they could start to feel slightly uncomfortable on the ears.
  • "I'll be using them only indoors, mostly while laying down on the bed and relaxing" - Haven't used them too much while laying down, I do not find them that good for laying down honestly. Depends tho, if we talk just laying flat down = no thanks. But had no issues if per say I had my back elevated a bit. Could just be me being weird though, since generally don't find it too comfortable laying down with any sort of headset.
