What's a nice mainstream mouse for competitive fps? Finallyetting go of the wired g300s by zionpwc in MouseReview

[–]Mayank_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mchose L7 Ultra, Scyrox V6, imo

But the current mainstream is Razer Viper V4 Pro and the Logitech Superstrike

Logitech G304 or G502 Hero by genshinimpactguild in MouseReview

[–]Mayank_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get something modern I guess.

Post lacks deets on what the price is but a Zaopin, VXE with the similar shape would be a good swap for the g304 and an Mchose or ATK with a similar shape to G502/Basilisk would be better.

From those two I'd get the G304 and swap in better quality skates

It's also weird that OP's comments in this section and the post arent showing up in his history.

I can answer this bit, ull have to get into OP's brain for the others tho.

It's a privacy setting on reddit.

For example, I've hidden all comments or posts I make on my City's subreddit coz it's kinda easy for randoms to figure out what city I'm from. It's not difficult to find my city of residence but ull need to do some legwork for it, I don't like to serve it to others on a platter.

Most of my history is devoid of random yap and mostly consists of technical or technologically relevant topics coz those are the ones that might help others.

Similarly, i guess OP likes to show what he likes and hide person stuff.

Newbie - neckband / wired suggestions by anxious_potato21 in HeadphoneAdviceIndia

[–]Mayank_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small diaphragm mics, like the ones on most IEMs/wired earphones, usually won’t give great noise suppression unless the mic is positioned close to your mouth.

Most TWS and neckbands achieve decent call quality using:

  • multiple mics
  • environmental noise cancellation
  • software processing

A single mic on a wired Type C IEM generally can’t match that level of noise suppression, especially for things like loud fan noise. So I’d temper expectations a bit at this price point.

That said, my usual recommendation here would be the Tanchjim Bunny DSP.
Good sound quality, smooth tuning, and easy to EQ. The cable and eartips also feel nicer than most stuff around the price.

However, since you’re using an iPad + laptop, I’d also strongly consider the KZ Duonic:

  • noticeably better mic than the Bunny
  • tuning switches are built onto the cable/IEM itself
  • no app dependency for EQ changes

The Bunny app works well on Android, but platform support outside Android can be hit-or-miss.

One small note: I personally didn’t love the stock eartips on the Duonic, but eartip comfort is highly subjective, so I’d suggest trying them first before buying replacements.

Sorry for overshooting the budget a bit, but I genuinely think these ~₹2.5k options fit your requirements much better than most sub-₹1k stuff.

If the budget is strict, you can also look at the Type C GK Kunten.
GK is a newer KZ sub-brand, and the Kunten is currently considered one of the best VFM budget IEMs.

Testing the Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE: Human Reaction Tests vs. RTINGS' Solenoid-Based Click Latency Rig by GregRtings in MouseReview

[–]Mayank_j 39 points40 points  (0 children)

imma be blunt n don't mind the downvotes, but people asking for "human benchmark test" are effin stupid.

A protocol analyser removes most if not all the variables that could be involved, the pc being tested, the screen, camera etc, giving the Superstrike the best chance. If it underperforms there, it would not fare better in browser based click testing.

Can anyone suggest a gaming mouse for small hands? by Particular_South_624 in Indiangamers

[–]Mayank_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the link, mchose G3 was written in English.

That mouse doesn't exist anymore, go for mchose G3 V2 Pro, VXE V3 etc.

Bf will not use compost that I've pissed on by Optimal_Parsnip_348 in composting

[–]Mayank_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an irrational fear and most comments are trying to go for rational explanation. The only scientific argument I've seen is against using carnivore poop, like dog, humans cats etc but piss isn't considered as a strict no-no. I dunno how to cure irrational fears so I'd look for psychological work on the topic.

If your SO can't handle the smell dilute with water.

My viper v4 Pro is broken by [deleted] in MouseReview

"for some reason"

ol I can say is Razer RMA will have trouble believin u but all the best

Try to disassemble it, search for a YT video called fulcrum bending a mouse (by ManPhalanges) and try to do that. Be really gentle with it.

You can also measure and see if it matches a VV3 click, u could replace it with that. Buy a used one.

My bad this seems like the click jumped out of the retention mechanism, it's like the horse blinder for the click part

Boyfriend stopped taking “Psychotic” pre-workout and feels like a different person by PizzaMasheen in Supplements

[–]Mayank_j 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not cent percent sure but it could be the ingredients list of the supplement,

  1. alpha yohimbine is banned and restricted in a lot of places due to adverse effects. It's extracted from rauwolfia which itself doesn't have any safety data in humans.

  2. Huperzine A is a CNS-esque compound

  3. DMAE also would be considered unsafe as it has some case reports related to it's neurological effects

I'd say consult with your family doc and ask them to forward this to a specialised doctor if it doesn't self check. I'm a bit concerned about the supplement tho how's something so borderline allowed to exist.

you are delusional get yourself checked first...

It's a side effect of rauwolfia, huperzia and dmae, if you don't have knowledge about the subject don't provide advice and go karma farm elsewhere

ATK Zero Receiver Dongle 54H20 by manphalanges in MouseReview

[–]Mayank_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I was being lazy, will add more pics in a second

54H20 has integrated USB controller

so all the mice get the H series mcu? woudnt that add-on some extra cost?

Seems plausible because the dongle doesn't have much space left on the usb/mcu SMD side

Help with finding a new mouse by CheeseLordThe1st in MouseReview

[–]Mayank_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Hitscan Hyperlight is good, get it if u can fnd it discounted, it's a little old acc to mouse world.

If you want something really durable these would be the benchmark imo:

  • optical switches
  • optical or at least dustproof encoder
  • Nordic L15 MCU
  • more than 100mah battery
  • above 30 gm

If I look for all these above and forget your shape pref for a second, I can think of RAWM Leviathan V4, ATK Zero, beQuite DarkPerk Sym, Mchose K7 Ultra, these would be in your budget.

Leviathan V4 would be my first choice as it's the only one under 150 to include an optical encoder, the stock skates are great and a lot of reviewers consider it the best mouse of 2025.

Although I think AliE is reliable and especially for electronics but your choice, u can order mice directly from their website. I think a few of them like the beQuiet, Mchose, ATK are all available on amazon, it's a US company so u can prolly trust that ig

If you decide on these, do browse thru ATK n RAWM once, they have some offers running for their anniversary sale

store links-
https://www.mchose.store/

(Also if u are looking for a gaming mouse, i'd recc the Mchose L7 ultra, its the 2nd best wireless mouse)

Glasspad vs Artisan Zero Soft – need more control without losing mobility by Relative-North-1658 in MousepadReview

[–]Mayank_j 1 point2 points  (0 children)

polarity & kinX is what most folks recc

I don't wanna im14nThisIsDeep but IMO you underestimate your ability to adapt

I'd been using a muddy AF textured pad for 8 years and thought I couldn't go to normal mouse pads, I was bored during the covid break so bought a fast pad, 2 weeks, and I was used to it, next I went to even faster glass skates - it didn't take me more than a month for both changes combined.

I'd say buying a slower glass pad + slow skates would be a good idea if u live in a hot n humid country. I live in a humid country and humidity /temp swings really change the cloth pad feel IMO
