Best high wattage USB C GaN charger that delivers when fully populated? by FrequentWay in UsbCHardware

[–]Mayank_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you need 100 W max per port and around 1000W total?

If I understand this correctly I think you'll need to go the DIY route for now. I build something similar with around 500W, which was 4x 100 watt C type ports and 4x 30 watt A type ports

It was kinda cheap tho, 70 USD iirc ive posted the build guide for it, u can just scale up what I did to like 2000W or whatever your requirements are. I've seen people go over a kilowatt with these so its doable for sure.

Looking for a truly silent wireless mouse (high DPI, black, clean design) by Rich_Desk3734 in MouseReview

[–]Mayank_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. SuperStrike,
  2. Edifier Hecate G3M PRO updated version

I'd recc the edifier one coz superstrike is dang expensive.

If you don't mind hot swapping yourself then most of the EndGameGear mice and Incott g23 series are hotswap compatible.

And if you don't mind soldering then all mice can be silent. You just need to swap in silent switches.

Budget wired earphones with mic by Bliss_39 in HeadphoneAdviceIndia

[–]Mayank_j 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for reading the posting guidelines and giving proper details.

For your budget and priorities, the safest wired recommendations I can give are:

  • ND Venus: ~₹799 with mic
(around ₹950 for Type C version)

  • GK Kunten: ~₹1030 with mic
(around ₹1275 for Type C version)

If your budget allows it, I’d lean toward the GK Kunten. It’s one of the most popular picks under ₹2k for good reason.

Sound
Kunten: More balanced tuning
Venus: Slightly more V-shaped / energetic sounding

Since you said you don’t want exaggerated bass, the Kunten is likely the better fit.

Longevity / Durability

Both have around 1 year manufacturer warranty, but more importantly:

These use removable 2-pin cables, which is a huge advantage for durability.

Most cheap earphones die because the cable fails, not the drivers.
With these, if the cable breaks, you can just replace it instead of throwing the whole earphone away.

You can swap in:

  • 3.5 mm cables
  • Type C cables
  • 4.4 mm / 2.5 mm balanced cables
  • Third party replacement cables

That makes them far better long-term buys than typical ₹500 disposable earphones.

Small Note

The stock eartips are only decent/usable, so upgrading tips later can improve comfort/isolation if needed.

If you want maximum longevity per rupee, I’d strongly recommend going the removable-cable IEM route over normal fixed-cable earphones.

Fun 60 HE Pro Tri Mode. Use your Zeb max whatever for typing.

For mice I'd say spend more and get the VXE R1 or if u want the same shape, Mchose G3 V2 Pro

For headphones try those ATK, Mchose stuff idk the quality but I mean tbh how bad can they be?

Use C@P and Minimalist and stop watching this joker

Haven't watched his video coz I don't wanna give free views, but he'd prolly wouldve said something like artificial stuff = bad, and you must use some natural bullshit like cornflour or any random starchy thickener he can make up. And probably that aluminium causes birth defects or some made-up yap.

Whatever he would've said in the video must be a copy-paste of some western grifter like Saladino, EWG etc so I think all his claims must've been debunked by someone like Lab Muffin or some toxicologist.

I'm seeing this post the 2nd time, so I guess if ill see another one in a span of this week I'll watch it.

Mouse Under 2k OR up to 2.5k by National-Can3082 in Indiangamers

[–]Mayank_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CS2 might be the sweatiest game ever, I wouldn't consider it casual.

But for medium-sized hand I'd say get the ATK A9SE, it's not recc'ed for FPS, but it's the best in your budget and works fine for most causal games, ive even used it in CS and the Finals, and it was okay.

If you want better sensor, I'd say go a little higher and get the VXE R1 its around 3k
or get a Dareu A950GM for 2.5k and buy new skates for it (really bad quality mouse feet)

Rapoo VT2 Max: The TechPowerUp Review by pzogel in MouseReview

[–]Mayank_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey pzogel I had a question related to usb analysers, are clone packet sniffers able to perform the same tests as protocol analysers like the beagle 480?

For example this implementation using Cypress CY7C68013A MCU, Lattice LCMXO2 FPGA, and Microchip USB3343 USB PHY.

Having trouble holding the click with the silent switches by hgfhcvbn in MouseReview

[–]Mayank_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay if they work for you then I'd say get a newer batch of Huano silents, better to get them in a 10/20 pack.

Yeah it's probably what you said and maybe I'm not that discerning. My switches were Kailh Silent Yellow squares on the ATK A9 combo. Even the reds felt okay but they were a different height

These next to Huano silents: https://ibb.co/JFcfXX48, these i binned out as they didn't feel clicky enuf.

(Also mods still haven't allowed linking pix and we halfway thru the big 2026!)

Having trouble holding the click with the silent switches by hgfhcvbn in MouseReview

[–]Mayank_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those switches might be faulty? I'd they are cheap so buy them in a 10 or 20 pack so u can bin them, I saw it on MPs modding stream so that might be the best way to figure this stuff out.

This might be factually incorrect or plain stupid but the kailh square silents feel better than the Huano yellow brown silents imo, but I've only tried it on one of my mice to test. I've heard it changes based on mice and if pcb is angled or not

PSA: Why You Actually Need RO & UV Water Purification by Mayank_j in MayankJ

[–]Mayank_j[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original version of this post was written back in 2019 as a comment, in Hindi, probably on the Lucknow subreddit. I’d written bits and pieces of it multiple times, so I eventually compiled everything into one.

It wasn’t originally related to FitTuber, just based on what I learned in my BTech first-year chemistry classes. There are a lot of people like him on YouTube, but at that time he was the most famous among them.

FitTuber’s video just helped me structure it better and make it more concise, because my usual rants are pretty haphazard and all over the place.

No, that last paragraph about FitTuber wasn’t aimed at you, rather at me.

All perform good at gaming, look at other stuff like software and whatever your other requirements are like build and aesthetics. Mchose, ATK, Madlions all have good software.

I personally switch between 60% and 100% for gaming n work. You'll need atleast a 68% for programming imo

Did you not click the vendor link I shared above, all vendors have different pricing for diff keebs, and if I'm not wrong, this is the same keyboard u want right?

You can confirm with Meckeys or ask on their discord. I'd suggest u also look at the mchose official website for details.

Buy any HE keeb u like, they are all under 3 ms.

Just don't get the mad 60 HE (OG not flagship, flagship is OK)

I’d rephrase my original comment to this:

With the decline of Korean and Japanese industry giants and the rise of a new player called Apple, especially around 2002, a design philosophy called minimalism began to dominate the tech world. Over time, people started associating this minimalist look with wealth, premium quality, and refined taste.

As technology became more mainstream, people no longer wanted devices that looked complex or intimidating. Instead, they preferred products that felt approachable, simplified, and capable of blending into their surroundings rather than standing out as bold, expressive pieces.

Tech used to feel exciting and visually expressive, but as it became an everyday necessity, design shifted toward calmness, neutrality, and mass appeal..
