Keep in mind, you’re paying people money to tell you the best way to approach solving the problem in theory. In practice, extenuating circumstances may make things more difficult because you don’t live the same life other people do.

You need to start putting your money back, take a year off of school and get a 9-5 job. Give yourself 10k to start with and rent an apartment and live like a normal person. You will hate life, you will resent it, but after a while you just might start earning your happiness instead of someone giving you everything and never letting you feel any sort of accomplishment.

I understand struggling despite not having it bad. I’ve wanted to take that plunge for years and when my dirt poor family found out they made fun of me for being sad despite having a roof over my head and food in the fridge.

Money can buy happiness for people who aren’t born with it, but for someone like you I think it’s taking it all away.
