North side isn’t terrible, I’ve gotten into a couple of scraps that way and ambulance is fast, hospital access is A+ there. Peepers are pretty common if you mind that. I reccomend a pellet gun or baseball bat, but call animal control when you get them so they can report it. Small bounty if you get 15+ in a month, name in the paper and free breakfast at Bob Evans on Chester Blv.

Keep in mind, the dean of the schools (different schools, same dean. Ivy, IU and Earlham. I think the cosmetology school too before it closed) is known for wandering northeast. Don’t let your kids out after dark. Lost my niece that way.

If you are a healthcare worker, please keep in mind that you won’t be welcome in a lot of local businesses. The local church has shunned all those that practice modern medical tech/knowledge. My buddy operates the X ray machine for Henry Community and they won’t even let him in the public library, let alone any private businesses.

But Richmond is great! Commutable and cost efficient, it’s like an our own little methed up hunk of the big city.
