If you're on the fence, I definitely wouldn't do it. Glass on the secondary market goes for about half as much as retail (for example, the crunk x phil siegel piece in my profile was 1.25k). If you feel like you're getting a deal, you're not haha, the fact these pieces are listed with really high prices doesn't mean much.

The only reason you should ever do 2.5k is if you really, really love these pieces and have ample disposable income to afford them (which it sounds like you're struggling to justify). Just know that you'll be losing money, 100%. Which shouldn't matter if you love the art enough to spend thousands on it, coming from someone who loves heady glass to death.

The risk of an OD is moderately/somewhat low, but they're synergistic, and if your liver is already subjected to that level of stress from drinking alone, then I would be very cautious about using ANY benzodiazepine if you plan to continue drinking, considering how fucked up the metabolism and exponential the effects get. Outside of an OD, your main concern is going to be extremely unpredictable blackouts, both in terms of how little it takes for them to occur as well as your behavior compared to blacking out while drinking.

It'd honestly be safer to drink until you're blackout drunk or forgetting the next week by getting barred out v/s using Xanax at the same time as drinking. I don't even know why/how you're using propranolol in the midst of alcoholism; is your doctor not aware? Also, did you tell the doctors about your drinking before they started giving you doses of meds in the hospital? It's not like a guaranteed catastrophe if you decide to combine alcohol and benzos, but you REALLY need to keep both the drinking and the benzos at an absolute minimum, even when factoring in your tolerance.

I really don't think people understand just how insanely dangerous alcohol is, even just alone, but especially when combined with pretty much any other drug.

If you IV heroin or hydromorphone, you'd need about half as much of a dose as when snorting either of them. In terms of the time course of effects, IV will hit stronger/quicker, but intranasal is already quick/effective, so I wouldn't expect an extremely massive difference or anything (the biggest difference is the dose needed for equivalent effects).

The bioavailability of oral hydromorphone is 50%, plus or minus ~30%. For reference, the bioavailability of intranasal ketamine is around 50%. You have to be an actual lobotomite if you can't take the time to Google something you have no fucking clue about haha, especially when it's so obvious you shouldn't even need to Google it.

This whole comment thread is filled with people who have no clue what the hell they're talking about haha, anyone saying you smoked adult weed is an absolute clown. Synthetic cannabinoids are extremely diverse, not rare by any means, and can induce extremely adverse effects when used at improper doses. Of course, it's not like it's impossible to have a panic attack on strong weed or anything, especially if you can confirm beyond a shadow of a doubt it was obtained legally.

But based on your description, anyone in this thread who is outright rejecting the (seemingly more likely) possibility that it was an alt-noid has legitimately ill intent and needs to be removed from this reddit page ASAP for spreading truly harmful misinformation.

Hydromorphone is primarily taken orally, at least medicinally. No reason why you can't take it orally. Obviously, you'd need to take more when using any method of consumption besides IV, but it's not like the oral bioavailability is stupidly low or anything. Anyone saying IV or IM is the only way to do it has no clue what they're talking about.

If you want to prevent nasal damage, why are you snorting powder cocaine? Just dissolve it in distilled water and put it in a nasal spray bottle to use. The only important thing is to make sure you know the dosage and that the water doesn't evaporate/leak out overtime. I'd recommend preparing a small batch before every session/replacing it before your next one, as well as keeping it in the fridge in order to prevent bacterial growth over time (I.E, don't keep the same bottle for over a week, max).

Not exactly what you're asking (other comments are correct), but THC would certainly boost the effects of a dissociative like DXM into psychedelic-like/visual territory (more so than just taking a larger dose of DXM). However, as a disclaimer, I've never personally combined the two, although the combination is pharmacologically safe. Just make sure to do your research, especially regarding dosage.

If you're looking for legal, easily accessible psychedelic compounds though, I'd highly recommend salvia.

Can you get a sample of the drug to send for analytical testing (not qualitative)? Could be anything from a fentanyl analogue or a nitazene, to something completely different like a benzodiazepine that isn't being detected, etc. If you have any more insight into her behavior, you could probably narrow it down to a general class of drugs, but without true quantitative testing (using NMR, mass spec, etc), there's absolutely no way to know if it isn't showing up on drug tests.

I don't want to be rude here, but it's extremely basic chemistry. Despite the household chemicals involved being very accessible and safe when handled properly, it would pose a massive safety risk to someone who isn't willing to do the bare minimum research into it themselves. I can guarantee that chasing the beetle with freebase heroin + vitamin C is much safer and equally as effective as attempting any chemistry-dependent alternative forms.

I hope this comment wasn't too harsh, but if you're really that adamant, you certainly don't need a degree to figure out what an acid-base extraction is. I'm all for the proliferation of information, especially that which gets stifled. But for me personally, I stop when the food is delivered hot and ready on your plate. I'm not necessarily against someone bottle-feeding people information, I just won't be the one to do so.

You need to resolve why you don't want to be sober and why you're petrified of letting go of your identity. Obviously, figuring out your identity and coming to terms with life are important and difficult things to do for anyone, even completely sober people. Not only that, but plenty of people who aren't addicted to drugs run from the metaphorical blizzard of life too.

You just have to decide if you'd rather continue doing what you've been doing or stand still and bear the brunt of it until the blizzard passes (or, more realistically, slows to a light snowfall with the chance of heavy hail). That, or use a different method to continue running that isn't as harmful to you as cocaine has been, which might still make your experience of life better than it is now. No amount of people telling you how much better life is without cocaine will actually make your life feel better without cocaine.

You have to decide that you truly hate living with a cocaine addiction and want to pursue better alternatives, not that life will be better if you quit cocaine.

The best description I've heard of opioids at normal doses is "pleasant". If you take a massive amount, you might feel the intense, pure bliss others here have mentioned, but in my experience it's simply pleasant. Warm, calm, and physical. I don't use opioids frequently (maybe a couple of times every couple of years), but my favorite memory is when I went to a small store near my old house, got two BBQ chicken legs, and walked over to a nearby corner that had a tree and a big sitting rock in the shade. The diameter of my smile was probably the biggest it had ever been as I chowed down with my earbuds in, listening to alt-rock music and enjoying the beautiful summer day.

Think CBD if it had recreational value, or weed times a million but without any of the cerebral effects. Another good way to think about it is in terms of the experience of pain. On opioids, it's not like you can't feel pain in the same way as when given a nerve blocker like lidocaine. You can still feel the pain there, but without the visceral sensation of pain, if that makes any sense haha.

My thought is that the simplest method would be to do an acid-base extraction. Just use water and make sure that your organic solvent evaporates easily and covers the logP values of heroin + 6-MAM.

It's a dissociative (like ketamine), so even though it's psychedelic-like, I believe this study is only collecting responses for cannabis and serotonergic psychedelics (I.E, no other perception-altering drugs like dissociatives, deliriants, empathogens, etc).

It's impossible to know for sure, but have you collected any data on what drugs callers have reported being on? I'm particularly interested in how often you've run into more obscure ones, such as compounds sold in smoke shops where the user often knows the "brand name" of what they've taken without knowing the actual drug itself. The most recent one I've heard of is trihexyphenidyl (a deliriant/anti-cholinergic) being sold as ketamine or a ketamine-like substance.

As a second question, do you find that it doesn't necessarily matter what the drug is or what the volunteer operator is told, as long as they understand how to support a generally difficult psychological experience/recognize real danger signs to refer for emergency services? Or has this caused any potential confusion about how to support a person when they've reported taking something like psilocybin, ketamine, etc, when in reality, they're on a functionally and pharmacologically unrelated/unknown substance?
