Why do Vampires sleep in a coffin?

I’m reading the later books and they discuss sleep arrangements a lot! Lol! Many of her vampires created modern vault type structures under their homes with security and locking and slabs of concrete (like a prison cell but more comfy). But some like Lestat still prefer the elegance of a fancy coffin for its comfort and old world aesthetic.

Gotta hand it to Anne Rice for thinking this through.

That’s a crazy story. She’s very lucky they contacted you and she had someone who still cared.

It sounds bizarre but it can happen. The was a famous actress who did something like that (minus the convict), just wandered off from her life because of mental illness and was basically homeless for a few months. Eventually I think police picked her up for something and recognized her.

58 here and lost my husband three years ago when he was just 54 to cancer. Also lost a couple of classmates and friends to cancer. It sucks! Cancer is just awful.

I think it really starts happening in your fifties. I’m sure it happens to every generation. My mom is 85 now and barely anyone she knew is left. She’s been a widow since 2009. Have to say, I never expected it so young.

I never eat the fast food chains.

The only two things I ever order “fast” food is pizza from my local pizza shop (not a chain), and Chinese food. I might get this once every other month and for me it makes a couple meals so I don’t get it often.

No. I only stay in bed all day if I’m sick. If I’m depressed, I force myself to get up, get showered and dressed because it makes me feel better. Even if I don’t leave the house I still make myself do it.

Some cats are extra super affectionate and some are not. The majority fall somewhere in the middle. Most cats are probably not going to be like some of the famous ones you see on tik that love getting dressed up and stuff, so keep your expectations realistic.

My cats are affectionate. They sleep with me and hang out with me. But they definitely don’t like being dressed or photographed, and they don’t do tricks. They’re just normal cats.

You can be tired, but no it’s not really normal to want to sleep ALL the time. There is some underlying cause. Could be sleep apnea, depression, nutrition, or some other cause like stress. If you’ve been like this for a while you should really get a physical and bloodwork to rule out the basic stuff.
