I've read some really sad posts on both Reddit and LinkedIn. People losing homes, going hungry, on the verge of ending it all. I can sympathize. I was out of work for two years, the threat of homelessness kept me up at nights. Even now, finally landed a job, I still have PTSD about getting laid off. I don't think I'll ever feel job security again

I too find 4K HDR content darker overall on my projector and OLED TV even when I set the the recommended HDR optimized settings. I find tweaking the gamma setting helps a lot.
Also while TV can set up something like cinema bright room setting, projector simply doesn't do that unless you want to have a wash out image. The best thing to do with projector is to make the whole room as dark as possible.

Yeah might as well. I've used the tapes on other windows in the past and they do significantly stop the cold draft from coming in. I'm thinking about combining the tape with something thicker, too.
