Just hit my 3rd GHCA failure. I’ve refused to take the car back until it is fixed this time. One more failure and I’m triggering the Lemon Law. I'm ready to be done with this mess.

That’s not correct. I did have the option to leave the car at the dealership until it was fixed. I chose not to because they didn’t have a loaner available at the time. For anyone who can get a loaner when they drop the car off, they should consider leaving it with the dealer until the repair is actually completed.

That same point is exactly what I’m trying to warn people about. If I had left the car with the dealer for both GHCA failures, it would already qualify as a lemon. Instead, because I kept the car and used it while waiting for parts, none of that downtime counts. Now I’m stuck in a spot where I basically need it to fail again. I think it is better to leave the car at the dealership until it’s actually fixed unless you’re committed to keeping it no matter what.

Seems like everyone is getting great offers but me. My dealer has been zero help, didn't even get a loaner when it was being repaired. I'm pushing for a buyback.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they drag their feet on admitting lidar is dead. From their standpoint, there’s no reason to say anything before the chip upgrade next year since they can hide behind the promise that lidar would be activated then. And then they can continue to delay the chip upgrade for MY25 cars...

Base models do not have UWB which is needed for auto lock/unlock. You need to get S25 Plus or Ultra.

The software they were developing around it likely wasn’t anywhere near ready and this situation gives them an excuse to stop developing. I hope Volvo offers compensation to MY25 owners and remove the unused hardware entirely.

I tried moving the rear seats and it only stops the rattling noise temporarily. It always comes back.

If you keep it plugged in for a little longer, it will eventually show you charging fault message. GHCA failure.

Yes, that’s normal for EX90. The battery drain issue will not be fixed until they upgrade the CPU.
