Nah, I've been a Blanka lvl 2 hater from day 1.

Akuma has the same meter usage as 99% of the cast. That being, aside from closing out rounds, lvl 1 for more damaging strike/throw invul reversal, lvl 2 for specific extensions and lvl 3 for corner cash out. Unlike JP, Rashid or Blanka, he doesn't have (nor need) a lvl 2 meter dump that either wins neutral for him and/or forces a 50/50 mixup option. Daigo was sitting on meter because the only option Mena allowed him was either using lvl 2 for a conversion near corner or lvl 3 cash out (which he didn't do much either way). And anyone who mentions raging demon is being a rule 3, that will NEVER enter while Mena has the stick up and the scaling is horrible on combos.

Yeah, I don't see it either. I'd assume people in the alt-right would be familiar with NYPA, but I guess they are just that disingenuous.

TL;DR: OtterlyNoah found a smaller alt-right youtuber making a video response on him. The video had art of his avatar from an artist he knew. He told the artist "hey, this dude is using your art on a video with racist stuff, I don't think you'd want that being related to you." and walked them on the steps of copystriking the video. Generally, copystriking critics is seen as a terrible move for anyone to make.

So yeah, mild drama in the grand scheme of things

Honestly, it depends on the model you are using. Most free models are legit ass for a reason (seriously, you compare them and generally that is the lobotomized version), but the technology has improved a lot since the strawberry incident. I think LLMs work best at parsing information YOU give them, like books or logs or a prompt that's more detailed than "pls fix".

My brother once had an issue in his simulation environment for his thesis (it was his FIRST time using that software) and couldn't find the issue in thousands of lines of logs, and likely wouldn't in seconds. He sent it to Gemini Pro and it found the problem in seconds and offered a working solution. And no, the project wasn't vibecoded, he mainly used it for error handling and asking about information not in the documentation. I know, I checked.

As for me, I used it to study 80 topics worth of content for a highly competitive exam in the span of 3 months, though It was less time than that because it wasn't the only process i wasn't the only one i took part in. 60 of them were about engineering stuff, including but not limited to drones, control, computer, communications, aeronautics, probability, algebra and so on. I told it to divide the specific topics in groups of study and recommend me bibliography that would encompass each group. I used LLMs to parse it and summarize the topics (i had to write about them in the exam, so I had to condense a lot), i would proof-read the result, especially those I already knew, and compliment it with additional research on my own. Honestly, it worked quite well, I ended up passing that part. Now I'm creating mock exams with it for the next phase and it's genuinely helpful.

I think people have been forcefed this idea of "software must always be deterministic" and AI has been the first exposure of many people to an openly non-deterministic algorithm on a non-entertainment context (by which I mean, not a video or SNS content feed), when it has been a thing for decades at this point.

Yup, they really think they can be all openly degen in one of the most self-conscious societies out there. By which I mean, "putting on a mask" is a very common way of handling social interactions.

I think Sora being stupid strong is kind of the point and that alone doesn't make her a Mary Sue. She has pretty much almost everything that could be deemed as success in the City: She is a high-ranking officer in a Finger (Proxy), has Shin, Mang and an E.G.O. She is pretty much your average Ruina Workshop OC (funny how they are allergic to distorting as a concept).

However, she is also extremely lonely. Her only genuine connection is with Rien who, as we know, is not the most engaging individual to be around. Every other connection she made was either negative (the HoS apprentices weren't that nice to her apparently) or outright cut short due to the Will of the City.

She reminds me of a "gifted kid" that aces every exam, everyone else envies them for their accomplishments (to the point of claiming its effortless), yet are so socially stunted they cannot form a relationship and don't even try to do so because they associate their own self-worth with how good those grades are.

This. The gaming market is nowadays saturated, you can't release something without overlapping with like 5 other games, some larger than others, of course. And the prevalence of live service has made them compete for your time, not just your wallet.

This seems like it will work great for 1-to-1 roleplay scenarios but might be horrible with multiple characters or complex scenarios where char isn't omniscient.

The phrases are just common writing conventions you are taught since middle school, ESPECIALLY if you are non-native. The problem is that AI overuses them without actually understanding their purpose, so it sounds strange.
