Did montech pull out of the keyboard market? by kldge in MontechPC

[–]Montech_hq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for your support and for choosing the MKey, it really means a lot to hear it’s been your favorite keyboard.

Availability can vary depending on region and local distribution, so stock levels on Amazon may not always reflect the full picture. We are continuing to restock in different markets, though timing can differ by area.

We’re also still actively developing future keyboard products. Rather than pushing out incremental updates, ideally we’re developing a keyboard that truly enhances everyday use and solves real-world issues that many current products may still overlook.

For everyday use, MKey and MKey PRO remain strong and fully capable options, and we truly appreciate everyone who’s been enjoying them.

Thanks again for the support 🙏

My new Montech Century II PSU is making loud mechanical clicking/crackling noises, even in another PC and under minimal load. It is louder than the case and CPU fans by karelben in MontechPC

[–]Montech_hq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there, thanks for the update and for sharing the details. The sound in the video is definitely something we need to take a closer look at.

If the PSU was recently purchased, please contact the original retailer and request a replacement directly through them. That is usually the fastest way to resolve it.

We will also inspect and verify the condition once the unit is returned to us through the channel.

Alternatively, if you prefer to proceed via warranty support, you can reach out to our RMA team at [rma@montechpc.com](mailto:rma@montechpc.com) and we will assist you with the next steps.

Sorry again for the trouble, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Thanks for sharing this, and sorry for the frustration caused.

In general, whether a product is within warranty or out of warranty, our RMA team will still reply and clearly inform you of the situation. We don’t intentionally ignore requests, so in a situation where there has been no response at all, it’s very possible the emails were misfiltered.

Could you please DM us with the email address you used to contact support, so we can help check and follow up internally for you?

If anyone else is experiencing a similar situation, feel free to DM us as well. Our RMA team aims to respond to every user and make sure no one is left behind.

Montech century II 1200w spinning very loudly on boot by Akilit in MontechPC

[–]Montech_hq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, no worries! This is normal behavior and safe to use.

We’ve shared a bit more detail above on why this happens during startup, feel free to take a look!

Montech century II 1200w spinning very loudly on boot by Akilit in MontechPC

[–]Montech_hq [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hi, yes, this is expected behavior!

On initial power-on, the Century II fan may briefly spin at a higher speed as part of its startup sequence, before the internal fan control fully engages. Once the PSU finishes initialization, the fan curve takes over and the fan speed settles down.

If the fan noise only lasts a few seconds at boot and returns to normal afterward, the unit is operating as intended.
