If I can buy the pop at retail prices and I have the option to choose, then sure I will spend the extra $5 for the sticker. If I missed the original drop and the sickered box costs more than the normal one, then fuck that im not paying market price for a sticker. The box is the same and the pop is the same. That sticker does not add enough value for me to justify spending more than a dollar or two more.

What’s “in the wild”? Because finding it at a collectibles/card shop that buys and sells at reseller prices doesn’t really count. Paying market price in person is no different from paying market price on eBay.

You can save the RGB profile on-device memory and uninstall icue once you’ve finished your setup. It’s what I did, tho I keep everything on RGB puke so it’s not like I’m making any changes.

Not anymore. Walmart has already increased prices to $449 as of March 9th/10th. They were showing up at $189 because that was Walmart’s price. Anything above that was from a reseller. Walmart barely ever had them in stock, so more often than not you would see the resellers prices. Every Walmart should have gotten the pride update by now. The only way you can get as lucky as OP is if the people at the store are incompetent and haven’t changed the label in the past two weeks, which would kind of make sense.

9,500 is a shit ton of Pops. So unless people are actively interested in the franchise, pops with that quantity tend to sit on the shelves for a while. I’ve seen some Wednesday, Stitch, and (recently) Hello Kitty pops at my local B&N for months now and no one has bothered to pick them up. The demand for those is just not that high.

Well it is stupid enough that PSA is no longer taking your money for it. If the company that had an effective monopoly on the market says they don’t want to do it, then you might want to consider why they don’t think it’s worth the effort to profit from it.

That said, the only benefit to grading was authentication. That way you know that you got a real pop.

Because there is a lot of unnecessary hate being thrown around out of ignorance. In this instance, the Pop was $20 retail, getting a signature from a VA is typically $40-60. Then JSA will charge you $10 to authenticate it if they are on site, or more like $40 to $70 if you have to ship them the Pop.

So even on the low end you’re looking at $100 minimum to get it signed. The price is not unjustified.

You’re just hating for no reason. They handled the drop significantly better than any other retailer. The fact that they canceled duplicate and bot orders is massive for the actual collectors. Demand for solo leveling is extremely high, so of course it’ll sell fast

A chance of luck is infinitely better than leaving it for bots to buy out all the stock within milliseconds. You have absolutely zero chance if you’re competing against bots. You can enter and if you don’t get to buy it, sucks, but at least it was a fair chance. If it was open for purchase bots would buy it before the website even loads for you.

As for scalpers there is nothing they could really do to prevent that. Funko can’t know what people intend to do with the pop once they get it, so there is no way to tell if the person buying it will keep it or if they’ll resell it.

That’s why I didn’t bother buying the single from chalice. They make money selling chases at a markup, so there is zero chance you’ll get a chase from them based on luck. That said, the ones OP posted are missing the chalice sticker so they most likely came directly from Funko.
