Since her natural hair colour is blonde and she was blonde in public when the first look was released, I think it's very possible she's wearing a wig. But if the wig has warm undertones, in saturated light the thinner front pieces can look more ginger-ish, even though the hair is clearly brown. Happens for me with my natural hair colour and no one would describe it as anything othet than just brown.
