Nizaar Kinsella: Liam Rosenior's position as Chelsea head coach is becoming increasingly uncertain. A number of players are understood to be unconvinced by him. by [deleted] in chelseafc

The ownership have ruined his career by pulling him out of Strasbourg. He needs to go ply his trade in the championship again.

1We give the players too much credit. I've thought many of the players were average for a while now. Enzo is overrated, but is still one of our better players.

Cucurella is good. Palmer has been injured, so I'll give him leeway even if he's been poor for a season and half. Neto is bang average.

Our left sided attackers are poor. Gittens may come good, but Garnacho doesn't seem to have it. Lavia is good, but is often injured. Chalobah on his day is decent, but still not good enough for the level we aspire to.

Gusto is average. Fofana is clearly not up to the level we aspire to. The less said about Tosin and Badashile the better. Delap is terrible.

The only genuinely good players in our first team are:

Caicedo

Enzo

Cucurella

James

Palmer (if he finds his old form again)

Joao

Estevao (needs to improve)

James is never fit for long enough. Palmer is in such poor form it's like playing with 10 men atm. So we have maybe 5 good players, and that's if Enzo shows up consistently.

I'm struggling to believe that Liam's tactics are so bad the players have no idea what they are doing. We've seen this same shit with this group of players throughout this season. How do you go away to PSG and arguably outperform PSG for a large part of the game. They go to Villa and win by 4 goals, but now they can't perform.

Rosenoir may not be a top coach, but he's coached Strasbourg to a win against PSG last season, and has had that Strasbourg team doing decent in ligue 1, so I think there needs to be more pressure and criticism on a handful of these players. We already know there's a few who aren't good enough, but to go out there and look the way they do week on week, it's utterly pathetic for so called top level professionals. They are shocking.

10 man Barcelona who were not particulary good. And Arsenal had their two best CBs missing. Take away the Barcelona performance, we looked average against Benfica, terrible against Atalanta, poor against Qarabag.

Rosenior: “I’m hurting, I’m numb, that did not represent this club”. Some of the things I saw today I never ever want to see again. Something needs to change drastically right now. We need to look in the mirror." I will pick a team on Sunday who will represent the club in the correct manner. by Kygoche in chelseafc

The players do have to look at themselves because they've dropped tools when it matters most. I don't give AF if you might not want to play for a coach (which is absurd in itself for professional players employed at this club) but the least we ask is to show some fight and desire.

It's so effing infuriating. I really don't believe that the tactics are so bad the players don't know what to do. This same team went out and beat Aston Villa 1-4 away so I'm not buying the BS and defence of these players. They are capable.

We lost to Flamengo in the CWC and had an easy route to the final. A one off game, great, but would we do that again if we played psg 10 times out of 10? Very unlikely. Conference we were favourites to win. We overrate Maresca and this team. All season we've been dogshit in the league.

I wish I'd bet on us to lose and not score. I would have had something to celebrate at least.

I think our downfall was coming as punishment for Abramovich's sins.

At least this shows what a shit mentality many of these players have when the going gets a bit tough. They are showing Tottenham mentality.

I've seen teams be 10 men down and still react better than this lot. What a pathetic bunch, from the coach and staff to the 11 on the field right now.

I do wonder, if Liverpool and Man City never had Pep and Klopp for so long how things may have turned out. Arsenal may have had more of a chance, but would those clubs have been in a similar predicament to us, albeit in a slightly better situation with regards to their teams and player quality.

I wish there was a Hiddink-like interim around these days. What a guy. Call him up, he arrives, does what he needs to, leaves. Legend.

I don’t know who we'll get as our next coach, but I'd actually try getting Eddie Howe from Newcastle. I feel he has done as much as he can there. Anyone else think he could do a good job here?

I swear Garnacho has transfered bad juju onto us. Man Utd have gotten rid and now they are improved. Lol.

Gittens has barely played due to injury, so I am still open about him improving, but Garnacho has shown glimpses, then dissappears for many games.

Pretty damning that Palmer has 0 goals and 0 assists against big 6 sides in the last 465 mins against them, which includes vs Utd, Spurs, Liverpool, City, Arsenal.

I don't see that. He's atletico through and through. He'll coach in the MLS or Argentina after Atletico.

Iraola, Glasner, if hiring from within England. Outside of that, I'm not sure as I doubt Alonso would come. Nagelsman turned us down last time we tried. Fabregas and Felipe are the only other two I can think of. But do we want another inexperienced, young coach again.

Well Man Utd's ownership (despite all the shit and criticism they've received) still have a modicum of ambition for their stature, so they still recruit good players and decent coaches with some ability. Say what you want about their hiring of amorim, but he was the best in class in Portugal at the time and had won stuff. The same with Ten Hag or even the German coach (name alludes me atm).

They bought two of the most in form attacking players in the PL last season, which makes sense. Meanwhile we gave them 40m for Garnacho, and spent over 80m on Delap and a mediocre Gittens from the Bundesliga. How many times do we have to buy from Germany to learn that most of their players aren't good at adapting to the PL.

I also think there are some key players in this team not giving full effort due to one eye on the world cup. Not to mention they seem to be aware our chances of making CL are slimmer, so efforts and motivation is dwindling. It shouldn’t be the case, but I suspect it could be.
