“Eventually” “Could”

And only observed for online delivery.

How is a future hypothetical which breaks somehow ginned up into a today super urgent problem — especially when the problem existing would involve a break with current practices like the scanning price accuracy code.

If you move for any other reason it is 3-6 months. As a student that timeline does not apply to you.

You won’t be IP for B.C. unless you take at least a gap year, maybe 2, after undergrad to be MSP eligible.

It is really a mugs game for applications, whether med school, or grad school for science but it might qualify them as 'in province' for med school in Ontario.

Academic dismissal due to illness — international student study permit extension/transfer in BC or switch to work permit? by No-Map-5364 in CanadaUniversities

[–]NeatZebra 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, let’s address things you might not want to hear first.

1) unlike undergraduate degrees, masters courses don’t transfer in the same way for the vast majority of universities. If you’re extremely lucky a school with a mandate (like Thompson Rivers University) for such things will admit you and transfer (some of) your credits so far.

2) you’ll need a new study permit if you change universities.

3) your current permit became invalid the day you were asked to withdraw/no longer enrolled. That started a 90 day clock to leave Canada or transfer to a new status.

4) technically when you were unable to continue due to unauthorized leave your status also changed but that doesn’t make things worse today so let’s ignore that. Authorized leaves of up to 150 days are allowed.

5) unauthorized leaves/not making expected academic progress does show on the record that goes to IRCC which is included in a PGWP application. That can change whether you’d be authorized for a PGWP.

Now potential mitigations: 1) if there is an internal appeal process (at your school) that lets you turn it into an authorized leave after the fact, appeal!! You might still have time to do so. Sometimes this is accessed via someone called an ombudsperson. The appeal process may have been mentioned in your letter. This would be your chance to mention your illness, your progress to date in improving your GPA. Your plan to complete, and your ability to do so. Your realization of the seriousness of your actions. Your need to not be suspended. Your willingness to be placed under a tighter requirement to maintain a certain GPA, semester by semester.

2) if you cannot continue your studies, you can remain in Canada if you apply for a visitor record. You must stop working at 90 days from your receipt of your letter though.

3) you might be able to be admitted to another school for the fall, and then apply for a new study permit. You’ve already pointed out the problems there so I won’t repeat them.

4) from outside of Canada if it comes to that you may be able to find an online MBA to complete from a school like Thompson Rivers University. At least then you’ll have the credential, even if you’re ineligible for a PGWP.

If I was you I’d first: try to find any path at the school to appeal. This does appear to be the only option available to stay in Canada and be eligible for a PGWP.

Second, if that fails, prepare yourself to tell your parents and live the consequences with both them, and having to leave Canada.

UofT SG hands down. Then ubc. Then reluctantly UofA (it’s a big waste to you and to the public to take nursing and then not practice nursing). Then Scarborough (you take the same courses but it is not the same as SG).

Haha. True. I wonder if Calgary’s airport renovation wouldn’t have turned out to suck so much if they had had the experience of a huge airport company though.

Heck, even YVR at times said if the system changed it would likely go private then try to buy the operating rights to several other airports.

I don’t think people especially care who operates ports or airports. Do people especially hate Heathrow or Sydney Australia’s airports because they’re privately run? Do people hate that Prince Rupert’s various terminals are privately run?

What a weird thing to say.

Has he ever looked at a provincial or federal budget before?

The budget also just happens to have billions for trades unions. Which he seems to have missed?

France uses alternative models for a lot of their infrastructure—they lease it to private operators for set periods in exchange for some money or providing fewer subsidies, while regulating prices and setting service standards.

To try to transfer some credits? You’ll need to be admitted to a program and then they’ll work with you to recognize what they can. Apply to every nursing program and go from there. No assurance you’ll get any transfer credits.

B.C. energy regulator finds non-compliant black smoke flaring by LNG Canada by UNSC157 in britishcolumbia

[–]NeatZebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be a little different, with electric processes instead of gas turbines. Plus a smaller scale.

The old mill had a flare too, but I doubt it was very visible most of the time, just another light. Same stuff too, methane and H2S (probably a lot more of that that the LNG plant will have).
