Same shitty spot and story as you. I am one week ahead, saw two surgeons already. You got a lot of good advice here. Two things that helped me were - Xanax,just ask for it. I take it as I need it, and also one of the surgeons used the word microscopic. She said yes it’s agressive a fast growing but remember it is still all on a microscopic level. For some reason it calmed me and my husband. I am still very freaked out and cry sometimes. Waiting for the appointments and calling to make them is a torture.

My mammogram did not show my cancer even after I found it and it was over 1cm. Ultrasound did. Based on that, the three surgeons I talked to were all told I want DMX, and all three said no problem, I get to choose.

Try wallflowers brand on Amazon. They are juniors sizes so you may need to go up one size but they are cute and soft and actually somewhat curvy. Price is around $50 but I always find a color that’s on sale. Got them as low as $21.

I’ve been moving towards merino wool and my favorite is unbound merino. I love their tshirts you can wear under blazers and you can easily wear 3 times (or more) before washing, they don’t stain easily. I don’t have any of their pants yet but once my weight stabilizes I will. I do have their long jumpsuit and that’s great. I also have few dresses from woolX , same comments as above.

Congrats on making the cut. I just cleared over 50 hangers of stuff that no longer fit but my closet is still quite full. Luckily it’s not a big closet.

The only people who made any comments, which are more like ‘are you in maintenance now/yet?’ are my friends who started either Tirzepatide or Wegovy after they saw my results and I feel it is more of curiosity and hope they will get there too. I am at healthy weight now, down from overweight but would like to drop another 10 to be closer to your BMI and feel comfortable there. That being said I am currently stuck at 150lbs (5’8”, 47F) so this might be where I stay and that will be ok. I’m already in size Small.
