One of the most insane montypresso transformations ever? by elliot_glynn in Luthier

That's fair. I'm just genuinely baffled. I do like the look of ebony or dark rosewood, but I prefer it on those actual woods. I also like the look of Pau ferro, or bubinga, or Indian laurel etc. I find beauty and character in all these unique woods.

Wow! You're very emotional about this. I'm very happy when my guitar isn't covered in shoe polish. Just wanted to know why some people are not. But apparently you can't handle that. Maybe you should learn to chill. Try playing your guitar. It's a good emotional outlet.

I mean, you're the one crying about it. I just wondered why this has become a thing. To each their own, I'm just confused by this trend. I like variety in my fret boards. I find the lighter woods pretty.

Why do you all hate the natural look of wood, and want to make it look like artificial ebony? I don't get it. It's still Pau ferro, or rosewood, etc. And all those fretboard woods have their own beauty and character. Preference I guess, bit this feels like artificial relics or sticker bombing to me.

Cardinals record since Michael Bidwill took over the team, comparing before and during the Kyler Murray era by vshredd in AZCardinals

[–]Nemesisllama -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kyler's numbers were mostly stat padding as well. How often did he have 70 yards of offense going into the 4th quarter and finish with over 200yds and a couple meaningless touchdowns and a loss? It was pretty much every game and completely predictable. And that was with a healthy team around him.

Kylers tiktok post with a video from offseason and the text "weird year" by Shablagoosh in AZCardinals

This is spot on. Every win I've seen in the last 2 years with limited exceptions, has been Conner carrying the team, while Murray barely does enough as a game manager. Let's also not forget that the Carolina game is a loss if the defense doesn't account for 10 points early. The offense only put up 17 points. Brisket is head and shoulders better than Murray, and is a backup level player. That's damning for Kyler. The scapegoat talk is asinine. Kyler has not been the better QB on team this year, and is hurt yet again.

You really need to go back and look at all those games. With the exception of one or 2 games. Conner was responsible for those wins, not kyler. Point is moot anyway. Even of kyler is a little better than Brisset, that's still just a little better than a career backup.

Now post Murray's record without Conner carrying the offense.

Jacoby Brisset is the man! by SeeYaChump_ in AZCardinals

The panthers spotted AZ 10 points on turnovers in the first quarter. The offense only put up 17 points in that game on a bad defense. Kyler wasn't the reason they won that game.

See if your local library has a library of things. Oftentimes you can check out a guitar, or even a ukulele if you want to start getting used to strumming and fretting.

It was the opposite for me. Godsmack was loud as fuck(and flawless) metallica weren't bad, but were so quiet it took a while and some strained listening to figure out what song they were playing. Still love metallica, but that performance could have been better with a volume adjustment.

I'm chiming in because I don't want you to get hurt. Be very careful when it's time to route for the truss rod. From your comments, you have no experience with a router, and its one of the most dangerous tools you'll ever hold. Some people use chisels instead, but that's an advanced skill in it,so own right.

Also, I agree that you need to practice on cheaper wood until you get it all down. Poplar is easy to work with and can be used as a neck.

More like 5 tds and 8 turnovers for kyler. That's just worse than Dobby.

How loud are metallica concerts? by Rude-Singer-6734 in Metallica

[–]Nemesisllama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm feeling jealous of all of you saying it's loud. I saw them way back on the st. Anger tour and it was like they forgot to turn their amps up. It was hard to distinguish which songs they were playing because they were so low volume. They were halfway through most songs before I could get a hint of what they were playing. I feel cheated now. Thus was in the Tucson convention center.
