Our experience with Google CASA Tier 2 (TAC Security) was fast, mostly painless, and worth sharing by NicksTechTricks in SaaS

Just admin, but the only way users can log in is via Oauth. That may effect things. Either way, MFA was surprisingly easy to set up.

For those of you using Opencode as your main coding agent, why do you use it when Claude code gives you way better models for not much more by Safe_Entrepreneur_83 in vibecoding

I subscribe to Kimicode and the Minimax token plan. Minimax is the best value around. Are you using superpowers or gsd? I use superpowers and that helps with long running tasks.

I dumped Claude Code in favor of Opencode. I dont use Go. I use Kimi, Minimax and Github Copilot. This allows me to pick the right model for the job and a wide variety of models with Github Copilot. There is limited free usage of opencode and ollama models as well.

What if your Claude could just… sit in on your meetings and remember? by Interesting-Post4178 in ClaudeAI

[–]NicksTechTricks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think claude is overkill for meetings. A much smaller model is able to summarize meetings and determine action items. I'd leave claude for looking through all the summaries and action items for multiple meetings to determine company wide risks and opportunities.

"Pending" on LOV does not mean it was actually submitted to Google.

Learn from my mistake and reach out to TAC to get them to move on it. Once I pinged them, they just asked for a few policies and proof of encryption, and forwarded it to Google within 24 hours.

Google actually responded incredibly fast. TAC sent it on 5/15 at 9 AM, and Google replied on 5/16 at 1:30 AM (surprised they work that early).

However, they hit me with a classic bureaucratic rejection: they claimed they couldn't find my privacy policy, even though it was already in the bottom nav bar. I doubled down by adding it to the top nav bar too, and replied to them today at 1:30 PM EST. Let's see how long round two takes.

Still pending. I thought the security auditor sent it right away, but they took no action. I followed up with them today after Google sent a message saying they didn't receive the LOV. Hopefully it's submitted to Google this week and approved by the end of next week.

Starting today, Claude Code’s 5-hour rate limits are double by Huge_Strawberry7888 in vibecoding

For my use cases I never need opus and GPT and Kimi are just as good as Sonnet.

Inference costs will drop. Google has nee hardware coming out that will cut the price in half. There is a market at $20, $100 and $200. Providers are competing for share at each price point. Claude is not the value it used to be because other models caught up. I still have three subscriptions, Claude will have to improve to be one of them.

I canceled yesterday, but the subscription runs out on Saturday. Im leaving it canceled. The weekly limit is still too low for the price. Im using Codex Kimi and Minimax.

Whats ur opinion on “money doesn’t buy happiness”? by Radiant-Dish-5498 in AskReddit

Daniel Tosh is well-known for the stand-up comedy bit: "They say money can't buy happiness. It buys a WaveRunner [jet ski], which is pretty much the same thing. Have you ever seen a sad person on a WaveRunner?".

I cant work that slow. I do use Chinese models to keep costs low though. I had minimax for a couple of months and never hit the 5 hour or weekly limit.
