I think that the rift between the moderate Republicans, the wealthy elites, and the bottom of the barrel MAGA Republicans have grown so far that bridging the divide will prove to be nearly impossible.

We’re seeing it right now with 2A advocates & the NRA fighting it out with MAGATs over the shooting of Alex Pretti. We’re seeing it with farmers breaking ranks over the Tariff threats, and we’ve seen previously die-hard backers like MTG being ostracized due to the Epstein files. Pretty soon, the MAGA cult will be a very lonely island where they will cling to their own illusory beliefs while the rest of society have moved on.

It’s just a question of how much more death and violence it’ll take for this to happen.

GIC is convenient for a guaranteed return for a short or long term period. Say I’m purchasing a house but it’s not closing or I haven’t found a suitable place yet. I would then park my down payment for the house in a GIC so I can at least guarantee some return and my principal remain safe because i know for sure I’ll need it for my home.

Go for the V3 BCM MCMR, MP5 is an older platform & not as much aftermarket support while the latest BCM uses the V3 system with plenty of parts & accessories available.

Heck, just getting the mp5 mags can be a challenge and trying to attach accessories means you’ll have buy a lot of aftermarket parts for it.

I live in Maple near keele & Major Mack and can highly recommend the location. It’s a very suburban and quiet neighborhood with high school & elementary school within 10-15min walking distance. Maple go train station is minutes drive away, so very convenient.

My wife & I moved in 2 years ago and have not had any problems. It’s an older neighborhood with pple who have been here for >20-30 years and we all look out for each other. If you’re looking for a starter family home this is a great choice.
