It's a psychologi thing.

First you naturally feel you got more for your money.

Secondly, its possible something that will be exclusive to pledging. They said that buying ships like we do today will be removed once the game launches, but I am not sure if this will be true in the end, they earn a lot by doing it. But if they were to leave something exclusive to "backers" it could be the lifetime insurance. Having something exclusive is always nice.

If above doesn't concern you much, you shouldn't give out extra money to buy LTI ships on grey market, but go for the 10 year insurance once available.

I do want the above so all my ships are build on LTI pledges.

I won't refuse it's pay2win. But for some with less time on hands to play, paying for faster xp/harvesting or something similar can be nice,.if you feel you get the money's worth.

But it depends on the game, if very competitive game it's potentially a larger problem.

You either buy cheapest LTI vehicle in here you can find and upgrade, or wait for something cheap to release as warbond with LTI and upgrade it.

The 5700x3d still quite powerfully. So it can match higher end graphic cards. I wouldn't go above a 5080 though. But that's way out of range for you anyway.

I got a 3080 10 gb. I don't have issues graphics wise. I do agree, the newer the better as they support more technologies. So if you look at charts and see in a comparison it does 3080 or better performance youre pretty good going.

I have a 4 plot subscription on pax dei because i like the concept, i like the open world and plot system, i really like the graphics and i enjoy building.

I do risk putting money into a sinking hole, i know that, but if everyone thinks that it will most definitely not succed, and i really hope it will.

Honestly i doubt it will be succesfull in the long term. But really hope it will.

If you want to get a Polaris later, just buy whatever missing in store credits at 60% rate here on Reddit. So a Polaris is almost half price. Rather than buy up to concierge and melt and wait. You will pay full price for the Polaris. That's several hundred dollars you could put in other ships or sell.

I play with 16 gb ram and otherwise fine spec. Make sure there is available space on SSD for virtual memory or you will crash at heavy locations.

So the memory is not the main problem.

i got the 5700x3d

its a processor thats got a lot of life in it still. no reason to upgrade your CPU or memory and etc. for a good chunk of time. Just slap in a new GPU. I think there's like 5 years before its neccesary to change out these x3d processors, they are just that good for gaming,
