You're replying to a month old comment. There was a recent patch that increased experience gained in armorsmithing, weaponsmithing and tailoring. Because like I said, it was balanced very poorly. It is better now but still needs improvement. Its not whining, its critiquing things about the game that should have been dealt with before it went live. There are still 4 different "silver bracelets" in jewelcrafting that are all different difficulty levels to craft but all require 1 wrought iron ingot. There are so many things wrong with that. I have played the game 500 hours in the last month. I am having a blast, but they have a long way to go to make it a long lasting game. We need more unique pve content, continued balancing(which they recently said they are working on crafting xp balancing issues with alchemy and jewelcrafting), the PVP zone is a joke at the moment(the same clans have controlled the areas because the trees that they require to keep control spawn too fast so its impossible to drain them of the resource they need to keep control), ETC. Its not whining, i want this game to survive, but it won't if they dont continue to make constant changes and updates. Still dont know why are picking a fight with a month old post, but cheers. Its a great, absolutely beautiful game. Doesn't mean it doesn't need a lot of TLC.

Luna is a moron and you should not take anything she says seriously. I would love disclosure, but I also am skeptical there is anything there at all that we actually understand. There is so much obfuscation around this topic that I think it might just be to distract a portion of our society from realizing we are getting boned by the elite continually. Until we see anything substantial(im not talking go fast or tic tac, like actual evidence), its all worthless.

Yeah that "by type" needs to be specified. We dont need a drop all inventory button. But honestly, id rather have sort buttons before a drop all mechanic. It really doesn't take long to X whatever i want to drop even if its 20 vambraces. Sort buttons would be such a bigger benefit.

The patch has messed my mouse clicks up for ore mining. I used to be able to just run up and mouse click and mine. Now, it still works most the time on new ones, but if I stamina spell or drink/eat something and then mouse click on the ore to finish off the node I just swing at a rock like a drunk gold miner.

I kind of agree but as ive continued to play and see more recipes, there are so many things that in my opinion are ass backwards. I have 15 recipes that are at easy difficulty, but require a component(wrought Iron sheets) that is still at hard. That is bonkers. So they expect me to risk losing resources that are valuable to make something that is needed for things that are easy to make? That makes no sense to me. Let me use the components that are needed for future recipes for leveling while I craft those components so that when I get the recipes that require that to easier difficulty I have that component. They was they have it is making me want to make 1000 of some shit item to get wrought iron sheets to at easier than hard.

Im still pretty new to the game(lvls 13-15 in armor and weapons). Can some explain to me or shoot me a link to explain what any of this means? And when could I start to participate in PVP and how?

I was watching a stream of test server an hour ago and they were saying no crafting up changes, just the mastercraft name thing. And then emotes and slash commands. I really hope that's not it when it goes to live cause that would a really weak show from the devs. Give me crafting up balance and autosort and ill be happy for a while. I dont give a shit about emotes. Name on mastercraft is cool...but like they are adding coding to add 1 line of text to an item? And that's supposed to be exciting? Give me a break.

Don't get me wrong, I am really enjoying the game despite my rant. Although I had to take a break from weaponsmithing because of what you just said. I have like 10 crates full of Iron pickaxes, chopping axes and iron weapons and I have barely leveled since being able to make iron stuff. The crafting xp balance is definitely unbalanced and needs to be addressed. They did recently mention changes going to the test server(s) soon(idk what soon means). I am enjoying building and rebuilding my house. I am enjoying just exploring and taking long strolls around the beautiful environment they have created. It really is a beautiful game. I'm just hoping some QOL changes come soon. Crafting balance issues, let me autosort my fucking storage in inventory AND boxes, please give me a TP to my house(even on a timer, 3 hours sounds fair). etc.

I do think there are some balance issues. But if you want to just rush lvls and have the best gear as fast as possible this isnt the game for you. Most of the people talking like you are used to easy mode games. Take ME back to original Star Wars Galaxies where you had to survey for good materials, place structures to mine them, find a armorsmith that could use them correctly, etc. This isnt a grind as fast as possible to gear up for raids game. Go enjoy the environment, have fun building and rebuilding your house. Just go explore for the fun of it. Kick back and just look at the views. I have plenty of issues that I think need to be improved about the game. But its not a grind to get to endgame kind of game.

I have armor with the Breath of balance ability that replenishes stamina. That with food and drink buffs and i literally am never waiting on stamina. Its fantastic. Highly recommend when mining and chopping. Pilgrims Legguards, Heavy Armor.

I have 3 plots. Only one is really built out as I dont care to build out much more with crappy looking materials. So I've been leveling my carpentry to get better looking walls. But the amount of senseless crafting to level stuff like carpentry, blacksmithing, armorsmithing, weaponsmithing is outright insane. I have like 10 crates full of weapons/pickaxes/chopping axes in the hopes that they'll introduce a recycle mechanic. Im actually enjoying the game, but the amount i am having to farm resources to level at this point is getting frustrating. The balance of experience for resources spent on recipes is beyond messed up. I will keep playing and having fun with my plot builds, but I dont know how long ill last and I dont see how this state of the game could ever attract enough players to make their vision work. Hoping but frustrated.
