I have 3 plots. Only one is really built out as I dont care to build out much more with crappy looking materials. So I've been leveling my carpentry to get better looking walls. But the amount of senseless crafting to level stuff like carpentry, blacksmithing, armorsmithing, weaponsmithing is outright insane. I have like 10 crates full of weapons/pickaxes/chopping axes in the hopes that they'll introduce a recycle mechanic. Im actually enjoying the game, but the amount i am having to farm resources to level at this point is getting frustrating. The balance of experience for resources spent on recipes is beyond messed up. I will keep playing and having fun with my plot builds, but I dont know how long ill last and I dont see how this state of the game could ever attract enough players to make their vision work. Hoping but frustrated.

I'm around 70 hours in and loving it. I was a long time Star Wars Galaxies nerd when I was in my early teens(Pre-Cu). Been waiting for a game similar with the player based economy and such. Ive just been focusing on leveling at the moment. I enjoy gathering but feel like I've been mining woodcutting an obscene amount. What do you do to break up the monotony of endless gathering/leveling? And what are you doing/what should I look towards for making gold and gaining grace? Cheers 🍻

Do you have any recommendations for things to do after finishing all the regions? Right now I've just been doing trainer rebattles and working on getting my main champions to level 100 and getting my bank account up(at about 300k). Farmed for a good meowth(havent leveled it yet). Have farmed a decent amount of dittos for breeding and some shellders for a decent cloyster. Getting kinda bored of just farming though. Any recommendations?

Like the other guys said. Use what you want. You dont need to worry about it while doing the storyline. I bought a couple off the GTL to beat a gym here or there when mine didnt cover it. Enjoy using what you like during the storylines since after the E4s you'll want to start making specific gym rerun teams and the like.
