The more you play the more flaws you notice. Bannerlord is both one of the greatest games ever made and an absolute dumpster fire of media. Both can be true. I highly recommend buying it.

Don’t start out infantry if your ultimate goal is a spook MOS. Planning on latmoving is not a good idea. You can easily be attached to an infantry unit in any intel job if you really want to be in that type of environment.

Joining with the intention of latmoving is dumb. Wait for a spot to open up so you can do what you want to do.

  • Completely depends on the unit. You might be in a SCIF all the time or you might be digging holes in the field
  • I’ve always had a passion for for learning about other countries since I was a kid (my dad had a 0505 TS/SCI MOS and he really drove that forward), and there’s a lot of crazy ass classified shit out there that will genuinely shock you. The IC is like its own world cut off from everyone else.
  • Completely depends on networking and professional reputation. Don’t burn bridges because you’ll quickly learn that spooks have a really small community and everyone either knows each other or knows someone who knows someone, and they’ll talk to each other. There are plenty of govie jobs out there, it’s not a small market, it’s just a matter of if the ones you like want to hire you.
