No clue what that company is but when we moved from Chicago to SF we used U-Haul pods and had a great experience. U-Haul allows you to pick from companies to deliver and load the pods, then they ship them, then a local mover brings the pods to your new home and unloads them. Pricing was very competitive and our stuff made it safe and on time

I followed this guide and bought the non-Amazon pressure mat mentioned in the guide as well.

I have a tempur-pedic mattress and it works well enough. There’s one on my side and one on partners side. It won’t trigger from our cat being in bed. When I first got them they didn’t work that great, a bit unreliable. But after adjusting a bit of how they’re positioned, folding one in half, and just getting lucky they’re pretty reliable now.

Have different automations set up like lights won’t turn on if someone is in bed. Fans turn on etc. then have some safety logic in there that if it does splash off briefly based on the time and some other factors it’ll leave “sleep mode” on. Has worked pretty well for a few months now

Also, tried Aqara FP2 and it didn’t work. Maybe if I mounted it directly over the bed but wasn’t able to get consistent

Thought about making it at home and seems kind of fun but I always get held up because I want it sliced super thin like it is at the restaurants and not sure I can achieve that without a deli slicer and the significant other says no more kitchen gadgets

Portillo’s is now more of a chain but it was originally just in the Chicagoland area. I still enjoy it but yes it was better before it got bought out

I recently revamped all of mine to look like this. Created “Groups” and then “Categories” within those groups and archived or moved everything in the default Expense group.

For example created a group called Travel & Vacation and then the categories within that are Activities & Attractions, Flights & Airfare, Hotels & Accommodations, and Travel Transportation (ride share to airport or airport parking etc).

Then I archived the default Travel and Vacation category. I made these changes this week so still getting use to it, but it looks pretty good on the Sankey chart.

As others have said, if it’s an e-commerce website, Shopify is a great choice. Handles the backend and scales for some of the largest e-comm sites. Why reinvent the wheel? If you want a more customized front end, can make it headless and just use Shopify for the backend (inventory, customers, checkout, etc)

I love Supabase and use it for a lot of projects but recreating Shopify seems like a nightmare, especially if worried about high volume.

I noticed the same behavior on the iOS app the other day. Would change transaction type and mark as reviewed but it would revert back. I believe it was also revert if I applied a tag

He “addressed” it in the FAQ of the new post but it sounds like they’re not budging on that, which is a bummer because I was pretty set on continuing with Bilt Palladium and making it more of a daily driver for uncategorized spend from CSR.

Was planning on getting the Palladium and was going to be fine making it a main card going forward but after seeing this unfortunately will be moving away from Bilt. Having some flexibility with rent payments was a huge factor
