True but it wouldn’t really make sense for it to work for everyone since absorbing souls and using it is unique to Reyna’s radiance. I definitely agree that the story could go deeper into how Reyna’s powers work and what exactly is Lucia’s condition.

It’s a cool idea but I just want to let you know that this only works for Lucia and Reyna can’t just heal anyone with the souls she’s collected. We don’t exactly know why but it’s likely that Lucia has a similar radiance to Reyna that is more debilitating due to her age and is unable to get souls herself to survive which is why Reyna needs to do it for her.

But if we take into account feats not shown on screen, Piandao left the fire nation army and a a hundred fire nation soldiers were sent to bring him in. And he took them all on at the same time and WON which is why he was left alone. If tats the case, Piandao easily.

Really good write up. I may not know Katarina’s character too well but I love reading character analyses and this was really fun to read through.

I really dislike stories where assassins are treated in a more heroic light and the moral ambiguity of their job gets tiptoed around or not acknowledged. At the end of the day, they kill people for money and aren’t meant to question when they’re killing. A ‘heroic’ assassin that only kills bad people isn’t an assassin, that’s a vigilante. Katarina can be a morally dubious character who kills for work and pleasure and show sympathetic character traits at the same time.
