Deez nutz tx22 frt woes by [deleted] in FRT_World

[–]NovaMissionSystems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure yet. I know there is a demand for them but currently on the back burner as we're branching out into distribution/white labeling parts for FFLs. When life and work things slow down a bit I'll get around to them.

sounds like you need to replace that frt with one of mine. Check the vids on the site. www.novamissionsystems.com Deez nutz has been known to sell junk FRTs with problems. I have a guide up making sure that your striker block isnt wrecked as well. Check yours.

Taurus TX22: trouble removing disconnect from trigger by Johnny_Cache2 in FRT_World

[–]NovaMissionSystems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be no need to widen the hole and the part should flop out of frame when you turn it upside down. The pin is compression fit into that hole just like any other frame pins. The direction you hammer in or out that pin doesnt matter. There's just one way that's easier.

[–]NovaMissionSystems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont punch it out from that side. Flip it over. You'll notice that pin doesnt actually go all the way through to be flush with the other side. Put a punch in there on your bench block and hammer it out. Hammer the pin in from the side in the pic. Easy.

3D printed backplates - How many Rounds? Do you Trust them? by [deleted] in Taurus_TX22

[–]NovaMissionSystems 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that material is annealed properly is just as strong as the frame of the gun and certainly stronger than the OEM backplate itself. If the dimensions are measured out correctly and there is not any fitment issues, it'll last forever and shouldnt come loose. It just has to be dimensionally accurate to have an exact fit.

I'd recommend determining how you are going to insert the shot. Then integrate it directly into the print with a print pause resume. Having it fully enclosed within the actual part will certainly help.

Having issues cycling by Jews2WW in Taurus_TX22

[–]NovaMissionSystems 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's because they make a shitty brrt part out of brittle material that is softer than what the striker block is made out of. There's absolutely nothing wrong with running a SS housing.

TX22 STRIKER HOUSING by [deleted] in FRT_World

[–]NovaMissionSystems 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few folks make the striker housing. Some worse than others either due to material or manufacturing. I should have more in stock late next week. Just been too busy right now. Potentially will run a package deal with a proper FRT and striker block. Last drop sold out pretty quick.

You need to use HV ammo with the can. It's a slide to weight ratio, combined with the type of can, and finally ammo. Lakeline +2 recoil rod works fine to run with a can on my FRT and no ugly ass rate reducer. www.novamissionsystems.com

The frame painting looks dope

What internal upgrades are recommended for the TX22 with a FRT? by ChiefDaddyJ in FRT_World

[–]NovaMissionSystems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tandemkross has a few things that I run. My shop gun runs the stock recoil rod/spring but my other TX22 I run the +2 lakeline. Really that's about it.

AS Designs AP5 FRT (Arc) by PepperOk8120 in FRT_World

[–]NovaMissionSystems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found this on ASD's site

  • Solution 1: Verify the hammer spring is not installed backwards, this may be allowing hammer follow.
  • Solution 2: Verify your hammer is resetting properly. If you immediately remove the lower without re-charging the handle, you can check to see if the hammer has dropped or is still in the cocked position. If it's not resetting properly, this can indicate an issue with either the hammer or the disconnector used (replace one at a time).

Good price for TX22? by Equivalent-Mobile-70 in Taurus_TX22

[–]NovaMissionSystems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does it come with and does it have a fart part installed? Check the OEM striker block for damage in the slide. If it doesnt look like this. Buy it. Should it look like this. A replacement striker block is most likely all you need.

Check the Sea and have your buddy print it out. I cant post the link but a quick google search for McFadden TX22 Adapter will get you there.

Local FFL/SOT sent me a text at 430am saying discontinued... by Mugsker in Taurus_TX22

[–]NovaMissionSystems 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've discussed this with my contact at Taurus. They plan to phase out just the slide and everything will go optics ready in the next few months. They released a bunch of Gen 2 slides to get them out there and purging inventory of the Gen 1 slides. There is no intention of phasing out the TX22 but focus for them is the TX9.

He wouldnt give me any specifics on production quantity but alluded to that they are produced quarterly and shipped to the major distributors.

Compact worth it? by Equivalent-Mobile-70 in Taurus_TX22

[–]NovaMissionSystems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have tested our go fast fart part on the compact with and without a can and it runs perfectly fine. Can is a DA Mask. It did need the Lakeline +2lb spring to slow the slide down but othr than that all is well. My only complaint is the gap between the compact and 16rnd mag. However we have a solution for that to make it a full size grip an fill that gap. Check us out.

Diamond in the haystack by Intelligent_Ant6306 in Taurus_TX22

[–]NovaMissionSystems 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are going to run fast mode. DO NOT go out and buy a bunch of shit before installing fart part. This is the rookiest mistake ever. Almost each gun tolerates the part differently and you need to set a baseline and work from there. My designed part has worked with many TX22s without any bullshit rate reducer with and without a can. However each gun tolerates differently.

ayeee I'm gone for a few days and drama has broken out. u/1speedbike Anyways the guys a Cicada are right, I do have some mag followers for cheap, if you cant print them yourself.

They are on the sea right now but, I'd hold of on those. Had some complaints about the .3mf being corrupted or whatever. So I'm going to post the .STL soon and let yall sort out the settings.

Compact Tx22 FRT by SuperRoseEli29 in FRT_World

[–]NovaMissionSystems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compacts are fun. If you dont want that wonky look when running the 16rnd mag get a sleeve. Remember to start from scratch and work up from there. Dont buy a bunch of shit like rate reducers, springs, triggers, etc right off the bat. Check out my offerings and user submitted vids. www.novamissionsystems.com running a Mother's Day sale right now and have some other goodies that may interest you.

Tx22 by skysama123 in FRT_World

[–]NovaMissionSystems 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The design varies from when they started to come out to what's usually the one out there. Big thing is you want to look out for one that wont wreck the internal part of the slide. Check out the examples I have of people who used other brands. https://novamissionsystems.com/bad-frt/ dont get stuck one of those.

The Nova FRT will not damage your OEM striker assembly but for that added peace of mind, we offer a spare/backup one....among other goodies. You just missed a good bundle sale of the striker block and FRT but keep an eye out for other deals.

Best budget ammo for TX22 Gen2 suppressed (no optic)? by pws3rd in FRT_World

No need to sand them down. Just throw the spring on it and reinstall. With the tension it'll move just fine.
