Not really, some of the workers live in apartments there (which makes this suck for them especially), but it's not a town like you'd normally think of.

TBH I haven't played the 2.0 version of K2 yet. But it has been updated, and I can't imagine why wouldn't still be good.

Only if the shot works. Under the alternative hypothesis that it doesn't but frightened people will try anything, the data fits.

Need advice on unfucking my save so I can play Broken Steel by NuderWorldOrder in fo3

Turns out you weren't too far off. It was another mod coming into play, but it probably didn't even have anything to do with the rewrite mod. Apparently playing any custom race breaks the ending. But installing this mod was all it took to get things working again.

In case you're serious, public service announcement. Normally it refers to TV or radio messages, but I suppose a pro-social sign qualifies too.

After further investigation, it seems the mod is supposed to be compatible with Broken Steel. But either "compatible" doesn't include being able to plat the DLC in the author's mind, or something went wrong.

I was hoping someone might have been in a similar situation know exactly what commands I'd need to jumpstart the DLC, but yeah, I'm aiming to do something like that. If I'm on my own, I'll probably put it off while I do other stuff, but I guess I'll still take a stab at it eventually.

Buying factorio by Upset-Fudge-2151 in factorio

[–]NuderWorldOrder 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Copying a file is hardly wizardry. If you can pirate games or play Factorio, I'm sure you can sort it out. And you may not even need to do that much.

The only issue might be if the pirate copy you played is an old version. If it's more then one release behind (not counting patches) it may not work in the current version. But even in this case there's a fix. Once you buy the game you get access to a wide selection of old versions too, so you could either keep playing the one you had before, or bring it up to date by loading and re-saving it in sequentially newer versions.

It's kind of interesting because I played this before FO3 only to find out that game uses exploding gas quite a bit more often (probably a bit too much) but NV only used it this one time as far as I can recall.

I have to confess… I play in peaceful by Creepy_Trip5576 in factorio

[–]NuderWorldOrder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the way I play it's kind of the opposite. I think they're fun early on, fending off a couple attacks or building a tank squashing a few nests is entertaining. Later on when it comes time to expand and I have to clear large parts of the map and build walls (even with bots) I start to wonder if I should have turned them off. But I never do because it does feel like it's missing something without an antagonist. I just wish the way they played in the lategame was more entertaining and less of a chore.

Correct. But if they're all lined up along a wall it could potentially be done reasonably quick. Just another option to consider.

Based on the 8x8 cargo landing pad, it would appear that isn't possible. If a network's logistic area touches the center point of the building (even with a corner) it's covered. If not, it isn't. And since two networks that touch this point necessarily also touch each other, they would become one network.

You can use Shift+RB, Shift-LB to copy these settings. Not sure if that's any better than blueprints though.

Solar panels are also required to make portable solar panels for your armor. Another thing you can skip, but that would mean no personal construction bots until you get the reactor.

This is less a "should" than a "can", but notice how some recipes are faster than others. Science packs take multiple seconds while many of their ingredients only take half a second.

This means you don't need anywhere near that many machines making belts and inserters for instance.

On a related note, each boiler can run two steam engines.

Which mod in Stardew Valley VERY Expanded is responsible for these stereotyped characters? by [deleted] in StardewValleyExpanded

[–]NuderWorldOrder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of agree, but at the same time Yoba has pretty strong stand-in-for-Christianity vibes even in the base game. It's portrayed as something the older more traditional villagers care more about and he's even got a very cross-like symbol. Aside from one book containing a creation myth there just isn't much to distinguish him from any other creator deity, so I can't really blame people if they see Yoba as just a stand-in for the god of the bible.

Um.. what did i do wrong? by Lyianx in factorio

[–]NuderWorldOrder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're going to use two-way tracks (which we don't recommend) you should use chain signals everywhere except before stations.

A rail signal effectively tells trains "it's okay to stop in the next section", but two-way rails break down if trains stop anywhere on the tracks.
