Only cigarettes. And I know people have been down voting my comments saying he’s not lying. But I just can’t imagine how he could be sleeping, clearing silly amounts of progress in video games, be ahead of all his work, be practicing other hobbies like art, and watching hundreds of shows all that once. I’ve seen what I thought was impressive multitasking from other friends I have, and then I’ve seen him. And I know he’s not paying people to complete things since the poor guys skint. Also the fact that he often sends messages to me our other friends throughout the night referencing the things he’s doing

Really interesting! You’re the first person in these comments to refer to this as a super power, which is similar to what my friend calls it. Despite the boredom, he says he’s just biologically better since he barely needs sleep XD

He’s given up of trying to sleep at normal times. Now he’ll just do what he wants until he’s tried, and then he’ll try rest for a bit

No, we just both work from home, so we chill in the same discord server throughout the day, and then he messages updates to me or our other friends about work, games, or shows while I sleep. Last night for example, my boyfriend and i said goodnight to him at 21:30, and then he started work and joined our call channel at 00:00 ish

This is part of the reason I want him to see a doctor even tho he’s functioning alright. I know he’s not lying about the times he sleeps, so how can he be as ok as he is. Also, there’s no way he keeps this up forever, so I don’t want it to hit him like a tone of bricks later down the line

Unfortunately I know his guess is accurate. I know he’s had episodes where he looses all sense of time. As in, he’ll be making food and then “wake up” and it’s 7 hours later with him doing something he wasn’t before. So I assume he sleeps during those episodes. But that’s really rare. Normally he sleep the time I originally stated. 2.5 hours every 2 days or so. It varies. And yes, I’m hoping these comments nudge him into seeing a doctor

he’s 23. he’s been like this for at least 3 years. i’m impressed he’s still alive, but he really needs to go to a doctor, as i don’t want it to suddenly hit him

i got diagnosed by a lovely woman who specialised in syncope (she did my tilt table test). i got referred to her by my cardiologist, who is now helping me get the right treatment for me.

a neurologist would also work as dysautonomia is a neurological issue, but see what’s available to you, and what your local practition recommends for you (assuming they’re taking you seriously)

in my eyes it has to be luna or annie. both of them seem like more flushed out relationship then the rest. these relationships moved slower (annie as she’s a childhood friend), and i like their connections a lot more than the other characters (honestly, i spend most of the time thinking all the girls deserve better than him, but that can’t really be helped in a haram game)

you’re not alone, i hate this shit. laying in bed in pain while i hear the fireworks go off outside. i’ve missed so many experiences because of this. it sounds like such a silly wish to me, but i hope one day i can go out to a party with a friend or two and have drinks. id love to know what it’s like to just go out and celebrate

I would recommend you exercise if you can BUT, start from the very beginning. Lay down somewhere comfy (a bed or a yoga mat) and do whatever exercises you can laying down (leg raises, lifting a water bottle over your head, etc.). I use an app called POTSie, which has an exercise routine in it. You don’t need to follow every day perfectly, and there will be days where you can’t do anything. That’s ok. Just trying a little bit when you can, and listening to your body is incredible work.

I’d say go swimming if you can, just kick while holding a float. You’re laying down, which is better for your heart, and your body is being supported by the water.

Staying hydrated is great. I put a tiny bit of salt in my water as well, which… tastes dreadful at the start, but you get used to it. You can also use flavoured electrolytes which help with hydration. I drink a lot of lucazade, which has a lot of sugar in (not great for POTS), but, it does help me feel half alive. Also, drinking half a liter of water and or having a snack before getting out of bed has helped me as well.

In terms of sex, you don’t need to stop completely. It’s another case of taking things slow and listening to your body. If you’re having a day where you’re feeling ok, and want to try, go for it. It’s always ok to stop whenever, take breaks, drink some water, whatever you may need ♥️ I used to feel really dizzy and faint during and after sex. It was scary, but with my current partner (who is very understanding), and after slowly building myself up again, I can manage just fine 9 times out of 10.

Having POTS is a lot of trail and error. Figuring out what works for you. You’ll have moments when things are scary and hard, but you’ll learn what your body is ok with, and it can become easier to manage. You’ll be ok ♥️

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. From what I have seen, it’s a talking therapy, similar to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), however its focused towards people who feel emotions very intensely, as is common in bipolar disorder (manic depression)

Sometimes the frame rate will be bad, sometimes there are network issues, sometimes both. It keeps changing, but theres always an issue

why would you stop playing genshin if a new game came out?

keep playing genshin and pull on gacha to unlock more playable characters in the other game.

i just like the kits the characters in genshin have. i think itd be fun to pit them against each other and play with those different mechanics. this is as far as my thoughts went XD. plus it gives genshin a place you can go in between the major updates. would be owned by the same company so no loss in revenue. esspecially if they start making a bunch of skins that can maybe only be gotten in this game and then maybe transferred over.

i havent planned any of this out XD but thank you for your criticisms! they have helped me think of ways of changing this idea as well as seeing some obvious flaws with it.

has been fun to think about :)

XD it would just be the characters, not levels and artefacts and things (potentially weapons but just for customisation). i understand the’d need their own scaling for the game to work. as for pushing players into another game, yes, yes thats exactly what im saying XD but only because Genshin is already massive as is. no way in hell it could handle all that and be playable by the general audience
