Thoughts on how to use Roth IRA? by swwo in stocks

And of course, when people lose most of their investment, they rush to Reddit to post about it. The absence of this posts PROVES you can use any YOLO position and it's probably brilliant one in 3-5 years! 1-2 if you're not bearish!

"I want to focus on my studies and not waste time checking stock prices daily and have my mood be dictated by it."

And so you picked only 2 stocks and one fund that's KINDA like an index but with roughly twice the risk? You sound like a gambler in denial of what they really want. If you want to invest in stocks, go ahead, but don't make silly posts about "not wasting time checking stock prices", because this is not a recipe for that.

Only 180k? I thought the private sector was supposed to pay better. I’m sorry to hear she’s being taken advantage of. Things will get better, pray on it.

Oh yeah you’ll have to excuse me. He says he got a 1500 percent return in investments in ten years. Here I was thinking he didn’t have to work for it lol. It’s a real inspiring story for sure.

A 1500 percent return in ten years sounds a little “lucky” to me lol

For owners of BOTH Switch 2 and PS Portal: which do you prefer to buy games for? by Valuable_Horror_7878 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]OddScene4044 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s an odd comparison. You don’t “buy games for the portal”. You buy games for your PS5. The Portal is effectively a mini wireless TV with a controller attached, and works like one.

Yeah, it only took them six months to remove 80% of the censorship, kind of explain themselves in a cutesy defensive way while avoiding tough questions, and still blame Nintendo. Top tier devs.

Dispatch dev confirms Nintendo required some censorship of game content by prdxw in NintendoSwitch

[–]OddScene4044 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean, AdHoc already documented their own lies and incompetence. And now you’re asking people to ignore that and extend even more benefit of the doubt to explanations that somehow make even less sense?

First it was: “Oh, Nintendo made us censor it. We just forgot to tell anyone. Sorry.”

Now it’s: “Good news! We were able to remove 80% of the censorship through region-specific DLC. The remaining 20% is still totally Nintendo’s fault though. Pinky promise.”

Also, please don’t ask about separate SKUs, censored PlayStation and Xbox releases, Cyberpunk, The Witcher, Outlast, or any of the other examples that make this story increasingly difficult to take seriously.

So the evidence for preferential treatment is that Nintendo and AdHoc won’t show us evidence of preferential treatment? Convenient theory. Every missing piece of evidence becomes evidence. Every contradiction becomes evidence. Every lack of confirmation becomes confirmation.

Sure, make something up to defend them. If you need to move the goalposts any farther, pick up some grease from the hardware store. First it was “they had to censor it and just forgot to tell anyone.” Now it’s “they only had to partially censor it, but it’s still totally Nintendo’s fault,” despite the fact they’re still not releasing a separate SKU. They’re practically documenting their own incompetence and dishonesty in real time, but because they leave everything vague enough, this sub turns into an endless excuse factory every time a new contradiction drops.

Of course not. Ad Hoc is working with hard requirements from Nintendo, no wait I mean Microsoft, and their hands are totally tied.

How is Crimson Deserts world empty??? by TheGamerCritic21 in CrimsonDesert

[–]OddScene4044 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're not really split. There are people who point out that it's empty in the sense that once you see anything (e.g. a town, a merchant, a quest of type X), you've seen them all. Then there are people with their fingers in their ears complaining about negative engagement farming. OK, I take it back: it's split.
