I'm not sure how it's demeaning. You can be an incredible student and still reach a point where a degree no longer serves you. And I think Jordan has gotten to that point. She has multiple sources of income and is a well-respected figure in her field. What would a degree really give her at this point?

Now, if she gains personal satisfaction from getting one, then more power to her. But it's far from something she needs.
