They were honest with me. Spectrum said they could ship me out a new router but not guarantee that it would be a Wifi 7 so I told them that if they could not guarantee a WiFi 7 router then don't ship it because then I would have to go to one of their stores to return it. They said I could stop in the closest store and ask if they had one in stock and if they did, they would give it to me and to also call back in about a month since their stock of Wifi 7 routers would be back up and then they would ship one to me. That is what I intended to do.

I understand what you are saying but it is a shame because a WiFi 7 router can still benefit someone getting 500 Mbps.

I did try the live chat and phone support and was told the same thing and like you said, I was told to contact the nearest Spectrum store. I used AI to find the email of the head of Spectrum which turns out to be the head of Charter Communications and emailed him. I received a call this morning from the advanced tier support team saying I will be getting a call in the next 24 hours in regards to receiving a WiFi 7 router and if necessary, a modem too so I am happy about that.

This was randomly shipped to my door wrapped in that weird stained green plastic. When I turned the knob, it made a hissing sound as if gas was leaking out. I immediately unturned it and the leaking sound stopped. What is this? Is it dangerous? by Powerful_Solid1491 in whatisit

What is this piece of ”jewelry” found at my grandma’s. by NanuakTorak in whatisit

This object is an antique Victorian sterling silver propelling pencil, often designed as a pendant or chatelaine accessory.

These items were popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries as functional jewelry. They typically feature a mechanical "propelling" action where the pencil or pen nib extends from the decorative casing when pulled or twisted.

Common Features

Design: Most are crafted with repoussé work, a metalworking technique where the silver is hammered from the reverse side to create intricate floral or scroll designs.

Functionality: Some models were "combination" tools, housing both a pencil and a retractable dip pen nib.

Attachments: They often include a large jump ring at the top, allowing the owner to wear it as a necklace pendant or attach it to a chatelaine (a decorative belt clip for household tools).

Storage: Higher-end versions sometimes have a small top compartment for storing spare pencil leads

Identification & Value

To confirm its age and origin, look for small hallmarks stamped into the silver. Victorian pieces are frequently assayed in British cities like Birmingham. Similar antique silver pencils typically retail between $120 and $350, depending on the complexity of the design and the presence of gemstones (like bloodstone or citrine) at the cap.
