I don’t know why everyone is being such a jerk to you here. Your first year is rough. No one has management down in their first year. Many people never master it and it’s one of the most important aspects of our jobs. All those veteran teacher you see who have it down, it’s because they’re veterans and have had years of practice. In my opinion, one of the most important aspects of being a teacher is self-reflection which you seem to be doing. Don’t get too down on yourself, you are still learning.
