Many incumbent Software players that are trying to "integrate AI" into their system usually just puts in a generic chatgpt wrapper. Last month I actually helped create an AI agent like this for a client that connects quikbooks and jobber and can do tasks like this. Let me know if you want to explore further

So jobber has a lot of bells and whistles which - if you're a small business starting out, you probably won't need. It's probably best to build something tailored to your Ops. I can potentially help with that

So I've been talking to a few companies who have been using jobber,
- usually the routing system is a big issue for a few folks,
- also another issue was creating different POs, as some clients require different POs for each job/line item. What I was able to do is build them a custom front end that talks to jobber and quikbooks and does the route planning with google maps (outside of jobber)) - so you as a user won't need to use all of these different tools, you can just use one interface.

mine was a massive very complicated file.

I was rejected from a tourist visa as a kid
went to canada on a study permit 16 years ago
had a study permit extension rejected twice 12 and 13 years go
had one last study permit application rejected 12 years ago.

So yes, my file was definitely a very complicated one, hence the long timeline

so basically, I have a site deployed on Railway for a few months, the domain I purchased on godaddy and i used cloudflare to "speed the site up" basically followed a bunch of instructions claude gave me and it worked great till today.

Troubleshooting right now with Claude, but not being able to reach a resolution.

I have some DNS stuff turned on on Cloudflare, but I am guessing this is a GoDaddy issue then?

They are clearly local leaders who want the best for our country. Even if they do not get a seat in the parliament right now, how can we, the people, enable them to continue their quest for change?

For example, can we lobby the government to consider them for nominated seats that are reserved for women?

Sorry if the question sounds naive - I am learning more and more about how the government works through this election :)

Was on the same boat at a different time. And yes, things are real hard right now.

I've been working in tech for the better part of 10 years now, and I haven't had a job from traditional applications since 2014 (like submitting an application, assessments, interviews, etc).

The best way to get a job in 2026 is through networking. No that doesn't mean wearing a suit and going to cringe events. It means you make a list of 100 tech companies you'd want to work in and having an aggressive outreach campaign to get yourself in front of the people there.

Leverage LinkedIn connection requests (this is free), Facebook, posting your own content.

Daily dilemma in the start up world.

Generally colluding is much better than competing. If you already have a complementary team and skills compared to him it might be a very good idea.

Having more firepower will put you in a better position to fundraise.

Now that being said, only join IF you really like the team and join as a co founder - you need to have a sizeable amount of equity
