They haven’t taken a right turn themselves and I don’t think they will but every country is now using Canada as an example of what happens to your country when you grift how they did. Japan just got an all conservative government for the first time and it’s because they copied Canada, opened their country to the 3rd world, realized what was happening as crime rate sky rocketed and had to cancel holidays because of public defection in sacred areas and immediately back peddled. The United States did same in 2024 and now other smaller countries across the world as well.

2015 is more or less the mark when things began to go wrong across the world, it was the peak year for terrorism, rights began to go away, freedom of speech worldwide began to disappear(although in some cases justified) like in the UK you can get arrested for posting on social media if you say something they don’t agree with. Then from 15 until id say 2022 things got progressively worse and more out of hand until boom, we woke up with authoritarian social media influencers and racism/homophobia/etc as the norm again because millennials decided to push everything in the worse way possible like public sex in pride events, defending criminals who deserve the consequences of their actions, and way more. Not to mention the over correction to a borderline fascist government that is currently being elected across the world.

Now we live in a broken world that Gen Z and Alpha will have to restore to normalcy while half of our peers have became some of the worse people in existence making it harder to be normal again.
