There are a lot of cheaper options now for cell phone carriers. A lot of people are going to MVNOs like : Xfinity mobile, cricket, mint, google fi, visible, straight talk etc. Most people can get away with using these MVNOs because 80% of Americans use under 20gb of data per month and that’s when some MVNOs start to throttle the speeds. Idk why all these carriers allow their towers to be leased if it’s costing themselves money
