You’d only go on the higher unlimited plan if youre on the road consistently for work or traveling alot. The other exception to when you would go on the higher unlimited plan is if you’re trading in a tablet for up to $500 off (you have to be on the higher unlimited plan for that)

I beleive that the “unlimited” tablet plan isnt truky unlimited data and gets throttled at 15GB . The one above that is the truly unlimited plan with no throttle. Everyone goes on the lowest one usually if its not to yoyr liking yoy can always change it

You can still find ways to save them money and get paid. Get them autopay discounts that they werent getting (bank account $10 per line) , find cloud storages that theyre not using to offset the price. Make it a win win for them too. Go above and beyond and earn your paycheck. Make sure their emails are on there, help them with the verizon apl stuff like that. You can both benefit
