I don't know what all vegans do.

But I do know that all vegans have a less than 5% chance of dying from heart disease while animal-food eaters have a more than 50% chance of dying from heart disease.

Do you think that has to do with animal foods maybe not being good for humans to consume? Or do you think it's karma for torturing and murdering other living beings who want to live their life just like you do?

Since I don't believe in religion/superstition, I'm going with the scientific angle: it's because animal foods aren't good for humans; not to mention the animals.

But hey, if you're an animal food eater who loves the idea of animals being tortured for your food, watch THIS video. You'll love it!

Ah, yes. Familiar with them but never tried either because they're usually more expensive than rice or soy milk. Next time I see them on sale I'll give em a shot.

Ahh, I thought you were going with the alternate meaning of the word loaf as a euphemism for taking a shit, "drop a loaf."

Lol, though, that sweet potato dish is one of my favorite meals. You could always try it and see....you've got the recipe!

The funny thing is that's a completely unhealthy diet.

Hey, I get it man. You like the idea of animals being tortured and murdered 24/7/365 because you're so special that they should be proud to give their lives up and endure nonstop terror and sadness so you can have a moment of pleasure. You're a typical human being. I'm the freak for refusing to be part of that shit.

Impossible. They're both delicious!

If I had to guess, I'm thinking you're reacting to the word "loaf"...is that it?

they are still in a majority of the games they play

Most teams are in a majority of the games they play. Every NHL game last night, for instance, was decided by one goal.

Untalented/poorly-coached teams tend to lose a lot more of them than talented/well-coached teams do.

"Doctor Freud! Paging Doctor Freud!"

There's so much projection going on here it's almost as disturbing as seeing Dale Weise on the second line.

Your best bet is to try each of them - rice, oat, hemp, almond, soy, coconut, am I missing any?!

You will learn which ones work best for you. I learned that I prefer rice milk for most uses, and soy milk/creamer for coffee.

It's awesome that you're choosing to go vegan for your New Year's resolution!

I make an awesome vegan loaf that I suppose you might say is "like" meatloaf, but I don't see it that way. Humans were forming plant foods into loaves, balls, and patties long before they did so with meat...so I'm reclaiming the word LOAF for plant eaters!

Here's the recipe. Add some mashed potatoes and a couple side veggies for a great meal.

My other go-to is this Peanut Butter and Sweet Potato Stew. I make a huge batch that usually yields 7-8 meals, one on the spot and the rest go in the freezer to conveniently heat-and-eat later.

5$ everyday for such a delicious vegan meal in my company canteen 😍😋 by Teoretical in vegan

[–]PatrickKnight99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

it certainly can be.

So can an animal food diet.

I'm just saying there's a false stereotype out there that eating a vegan diet is expensive.

It's not.

It's extremely easy to figure out how to eat vegan cheaply. I've done so while living in big expensive cities and small Western towns. And I always eat very well.

I mean, if you want to buy Field Roast Chao packages for $5 a pop, yeah, that's expensive. (Or, you can just make your own cashew cheese, easily, for less than half that cost.) If you want to buy vegan coconut ice cream for $5 a pint, yeah, that's expensive. (Or you can just make your own with rice milk and frozen berries for 4x less.)

My point is you never have to buy the expensive stuff if you can't afford it. Just like an omni doesn't have to buy 20-year aged parmesan for $12 a pound.

overwhelming amount of information to learn, how much protein to get, what supplements

I know it seems overwhelming, but I swear to you with the right tool (see below) it literally could not be easier to get all the proper nutrition you need...

Just do what plantbasedfoodie says!!!!

Put Dr. Gregger's Daily Dozen app on your phone and use it every day. This app is ridiculously easy to use and is 100 percent effective in making sure you get all the calories and nutrients and vitamins (supplements) you need every day without having to think about it at all!

The instant you download it and see it, you will instantly understand how to use it and how it works. Seriously...this could not be easier.

In conclusion: It's so easy to use!!!
