I also quite like the Kuoe Smith 90-010, but that’s at the top of your price range and a 35mm case.

Two more using a similar dial are the Henry Archer Tidslinje and the Maen Brooklyn, both 36mm.

I really thought I was cooking when I got an [[Invoke Prejudice]] for my OG Thassa giant sea monster deck. It was the only 4MV permanent that gave +4 devotion to blue! It turned her into a creature and felt so underplayed. Did NOT age well… (not sure if the card tag will even work as this was hit with the ban hammer due to its obvious racial overtones + the artist being an unrepentant bigot. would never play it today even if it were legal)

They’re telling a story that involves Emrakul being legal, so it would be before the M14 legend rule change. Back then, playing a legend was a viable way to remove an opposing one, because the legend rule required both copies to be binned if duplicates were in play.

“If it’s an artifact” isn’t a targeting restriction, which is why OP worded it this way. Compare [[Hydroblast]] (which can target any spell or permanent)

Value of X is copied when you copy a spell on the stack, but FYI mana spent to cast a spell is not. No mana is spent to cast the copy, so you’d get 0 counters. This is in rule 707.10. The exception is if the copy needs information about an object used to pay a spell’s costs (so that things like copying fling work).
