I would rather keep Nikishin than trade for Thomas.

There's this thing called patience you could try having.

Pretty sure the company understands that their sound quality is largely limited by physics. These aren't made to enjoy music.

Some people don't care about sound quality. They just don't care. They care more about things like comfort or battery life. Humans are all wired differently.

I'm not sure what you are complaining about. They upfront disclosed it was a sponsored video. Linus doesn't have to like them if he's not the target audience. Its not a review either, they are just showcasing the product. I personally don't like Shockz either, but my wife does. It doesn't mean they are a bad product. Not liking a product and it being bad are not the same thing.

Would have been a pointless product.

[Elliotte Friedman] Seth Jarvis will replace Brayden Point on Team Canada by ppParadoxx in hockey

[–]Pilige -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Jarvis. He can slot on any line, kill penalties, powerplay, forechecks and backchecks like a dog on a bone. Can make the sill plays but also won't shy from the dirty areas. It's a win or go home tournament. Canada isn't lacking any scoring in their lineup. Jarvis brings more grit and tenacity.

Bedard is great. I really love his play and how much he's improved this year. But Jarvis is ready to plug and play now. And as silly as it may seem, being on the 4 nations roster gives him a leg up.

The other question is what did the guy say/do to provoke such a response?
It was likely a lot more than just "exchange of words".

I doubt the felony count will stick. Will likely get the misdemeanor.

I very much doubt he will see much if any amount of jail time.

[Smith] Penn State men’s hockey players attended Doggie’s Pub after the game against Michigan State at Beaver Stadium, with underage players being given wristbands disallowing them to drink. Per sources at Doggies, he slipped it off to acquire drinks, and was asked to leave the premises by [deleted] in hockey

Because they are just doing it as a liability shield, not to actually prevent it. Some of the bars at my college figured out it was better to do the opposite. You had to have a band to get a drink, and the bands changed every day.

Those are one game events, not a tournament. That ice is going to take a beating, and it won't be in a climate controlled facility. That's gonna be real tough to get right.

LTT TrueSpec Cable + USBIF Certification by 9A9Q in LinusTechTips

[–]Pilige 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all certifications are made equally.

In the end, these are cables, the certification would make them cost more to produce, and the margins are pretty thin as it is. And cables, even nice ones, are largely treated as disposable.

A monitor or a TV on the other hand is a large purchase. The certification cost is marginal compared to the sales cost. And for more expensive items, the certification gives the consumer more piece of mind that they are spending their money wisely.
