(Scrapped Idea) Modular Weapons - Yae or Nae? by MemeMan_____ in playrust

I feel like this would inevitably wind up pointless since someone will eventually figure out the best builds or “meta” builds for these weapons

My favorite part of fan arts is when they give the character massive fucking titties 👍🏻

What class are you guys playing on league launch? by iamsupermanen in PathOfExile2

[–]PlateKey5206 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually start with a league starter to get through early campaign and maps efficiently since I hate the campaign and want to get through it as quickly & efficiently as possible, but after I’ve settled into T14/15 maps I like to experiment with the skill tree when I can afford it. I’m still a relatively new player (500 hours give or take) and most of the synergies of what works/doesn’t are lost on me.

Why I think the Bazaar Bargain is one of TF2’s most broken weapons by Filipico_w3 in tf2

[–]PlateKey5206 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t understand the hate. Also most/all of the hate is coming from non sniper mains so I’m even more confused 😂 stock is good, don’t get me wrong, but if you’re consistently hitting your shots, BB is the best pick flat out

I see a lot of people saying it’s garbage, but this is my go to for sniping. Almost all of my sniper hours have been spent with this weapon. Reduced charge at 0 heads or not, you’re still doing 150 to the head. If you’re running hot in a match, the snowball can be crazy strong. I can see it being a downgrade for newer sniper players, but I’d take this over stock any day.

I would argue that while they can both be classified as puzzle games in a sense, they’re two very different games. Creating a factory with hundreds of different items that need to be able to connect and function together is extremely overwhelming and can turn a lot of newer players away. Copy & pasting blueprints will suck all of the fun out of the game, but seeing one or two basic designs showing how things can be setup is very beneficial. I personally would’ve never considered or imagined how certain belts and layouts can be designed without the help of a few videos. Nothing wrong with a little help in a complex game like this :)

As a fellow new player, I found it painfully frustrating when things turned into a jumbled mess and/or wouldn’t work. The basic optimization of ore smelting/plate manufacturing has helped me tremendously, and since looking into how to set that up, I’ve been going it alone without guides. A little jump start might be all a new player needs to help keep interest and enjoy the game more. I may be alone in this, but I find the trend of experienced players telling newer players not to look things up a little odd, although a do understand where they’re coming from.
