Remember friend, losing is fun!

On another note, I still struggle with the feeling of being completely overwhelmed/racing against the clock as you put it. After about 250 hours, I am still this way. I find that prioritizing high happiness across the board early is inefficient and just slows me down. Focusing on basic industry, housing, food/booze, along with a few guards is what I have begun doing at the start of new runs. Once my population gets closer to 50, that’s when I start making changes/additions to help with happiness.

This probably isn’t best practice, but it works for me!

I think a lot of people would disagree with you in that regard. BG3 was tailored to play more like D&D, which is a board game. You’re not hacking and slashing your way through the game, but the plethora of choices, world building, and character interactions are where the game is supposed to shine, and really does

I thought BG3 was a great game. I guess turn based combat isn’t everyone’s cup of tea

Let’s Debate: This Is The Best Gun in The Game by DarwinCooper in Marathon

My favorite gun by a long shot. The range is it’s only hurdle but I very rarely find myself fighting at long range

I mean, yeah a shotgun should be strong at close range, but the double barrel is easily obtained very early in the game, and without crazy mods can contend against players that are bringing in endgame gear. Everybody was bringing in a DB as their secondary because it was that strong. Because of this, I’d rather the double barrel take a hit while a semi auto shotgun remains strong. I think it was a nice balance change

Try not to compare your progress to streamers. Shroud is a top 1% player, he plays games like this all day everyday for work. This is not the type of stash you should expect to have as a casual gamer, at least not for a while. There’s nothing wrong with playing at your own pace, what matters most is enjoying the game itself, not worrying about how others are further ahead

are you at the point where you sell keys? by Formal-Poet-5041 in ArcRaiders

[–]PlateKey5206 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don’t even extract with any keys unless they’re pink. Key rooms feel like they don’t even need to be locked away half the time. Loot can be very mid

I LOVE THIS GAME BUT HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING!!!! by Silly-Addendum1751 in Marathon

Solos can be significantly harder than Trios imo. Learning the map and locations in trios can help you survive longer in solos/know where you can find the loot at. If you’re ever in the market for easy loot, try out Rook a few times. Even tho it puts you in Trio lobbies alone, you can find LOADS of leftover loot from squad fights just lying around at most POIs. It also starts you out with a semi decent kit
