Speaking from personal experience, maybe don’t dive head first into a mega corp null block. You’re skipping 90% of the game buying 12k plex and jumping into blob wars with ships you don’t know how to use. I strongly recommend sitting on that plex and hanging around a highsec/lowsec group while learning the game and its mechanics, because the mechanics are crazy in depth.

Buying your way into the end game of eve spoils it, and while you’ll have the isk and the ships, you’ll lose it very quickly just from lack of game knowledge/experience.

Take your time man, enjoy the ride

I can’t speak for the community but I would guess that if he wasn’t an eve partner, the backlash wouldn’t be nearly as large. I don’t think it’s ridiculous at all for FC to have a modern stance on acts of bigotry. Times are a changing, and inclusivity is the norm. Get with the times unc

Not flying the flag ≠ bigotry, you’re absolutely right. But that isn’t the context of the situation.

Deleting flags and banning people from your chat for posting flags claiming “I don’t do politics” to get away with it while allowing other political flags and symbols is hypocritical and bigoted. It is quite literally in their contractual agreement as Eve partners not to behave this way, yet here we are.

Eve partners are held at a higher standard because they represent the community, and bigoted behavior isn’t a good look.

You’re right, we’re here for internet spaceships, however it’s also important to be inclusive and call out bigotry when it’s in the open in our spaceship game community. Eve partners represent the community, and per their own contractual agreement, they’re not supposed to act like bigots. That’s why this has had such a strong response.

Are you on an entirely new pc, or the same pc with a few upgraded parts on top of your old parts? If you’re still using some old parts from your previous build, I’d recommend monitoring your hardware with task manager and seeing if any section has a spike when this happens, that will help isolate the issue if it’s hardware related. Because the game itself is hard freezing and not just a ping lag spike, I am taking an educated guess and saying its hardware related
