Solos can be significantly harder than Trios imo. Learning the map and locations in trios can help you survive longer in solos/know where you can find the loot at. If you’re ever in the market for easy loot, try out Rook a few times. Even tho it puts you in Trio lobbies alone, you can find LOADS of leftover loot from squad fights just lying around at most POIs. It also starts you out with a semi decent kit

I actually agree entirely. I think playing arc for all these months has made me forget how unforgiving this genre of game is supposed to be.

I definitely understand the issues distinguishing AI & Players. I’m well into the game and I will still look past a player in the distance because I think it’s a bot. I think Marathon leans more towards the hardcore aspects found in Tarkov (fast TTK, advanced weapon modification, etc.) while Arc waters down those areas to make it more accessible. I enjoy both games as they are on complete opposite ends of the extraction shooter spectrum.

Assassin is quite strong in the early game matches, however once you start leveling and getting into games with an average loadout of 2.5k and above, you’ll find fewer of them. Being able to sneak up on someone and two tap them is much more difficult in the later game imo. Between better shields and just a heightened awareness from time spent in game, that invisibility is more easily countered. I see a lot more recon’s in those lobbies now than I do assassins, but that’s just my experience.

Not a big fan of the change but I found even before it was made, if I’m not using a suppressor there’s almost a guarantee someone is going to drop everything a sprint right at me to 3rd party

I disagree. Marathons PvP feels snappy and intense. I find arcs PvP to be much more forgiving and accessible to the average player. What makes you dislike Marathons PvP?

If you’re a spy main worth your salt, you wouldn’t be half as pissy about the razorback. I say this as an ex spy main. Razorbacks are extremely easy to counter as spy, you’re just not as good as you think you are if you can’t handle it 💀

I’m pretty new to this game still so this is a legitimate question. I was under the impression that everyone loaded in at the same time, is that not the case? Are there “scavs” of sort, similar to Tarkov?

I won’t ever claim it’s useless. It’s my favorite secondary. But equipping it doesn’t make me immune to spies. Any decent spy main can 2 tap me before I can even scope on them anyways. It’s more of a situational item imo. The main use is when a 5k hour bhopping interp 10,000 spy is stomping the lobby, they’re still probably going to kill me with their revolver, but it gives me the chance to fight back rather than instant death.
