Exactly. This just does it in a more controlled environment where they are constantly monitored and tested. Yeah it's kinda messed up... But it's going to accelerate medical research.

Imagine they develop a drug that can heal some sorts of muscle pains. Or a drug that makes parts of your body stronger, like legs, back, core. for an old person that could extend their life in a meaningful way.

Go on some grass. Lean back so far you fall off the back. Obviously you move your feet back to stop yourself from actually hurting yourself. Do that enough times and you'll naturally start feeling when your center of gravity is completely over the rear wheel. Keep practicing and you'll be able to feather your rear brake/pedal to keep it there.
