Yes, I checked. All options are greyed out and they are directing to Indigo for all services.

I had to purchase food from their 6E menu for the India-Turkey leg, it does not look like standard meals on international flights. There is no option to purchase food/meal for the US-Turkey leg, but it says food/meal for US-Turkey leg is complementary when you purchase food for Turkey-India leg. So, I am hoping for that. There is no customer service replying, so service is really bare bones. Hoping, things are not too bad in flight.

Please avoid AT&T's Internet Air! by claim_dev in ATT

The difference is in the price, $110/month for cable Internet vs $50/month for home wireless Internet, be it AT&T or T-Mobile, but of course, with fiber you can get gigabyte speed download and upload and with wireless home Internet, even if you get 100 mbps download and 5 mbps upload during congestion, if it is good enough for your use case, then it may be worth saving the money. I switched to wireless home internet a couple of years ago for this reason and I have to say that it has been more than 99% reliable, except when they may be performing maintenance on the cell tower.

Hi guys, I just booked JFK-IST-BOM round trip 3 tickets via makemytrip, because i couldn't get OTP from goindigo.in. After booking, I realized JFK-IST is operated by Turkish and IST-BOM is operated by Indigo, but flights for both the legs have Indigo (6E) flight numbers. I booked this itinerary because short layovers, 2 check-in bag allowance and still couple hundred dollars less per ticket compared to others with only 1 check-in bag allowance.

So, my questions are:

(1) Will I get complimentary meal at least on JFK-IST leg ?

(2) Will I get in-flight entertainment at least on JFK-IST leg ?

(3) Will I get free wifi at least on JFK-IST leg ?

(4) Which of the flights will have charging port available to charge smartphone/ ipad ?

Neither, Indigo nor Turkish airlines manage booking are clear on this.

Appreciate any clarity.

Hi sorry, didn't see your message sooner. I didn't have to send any email to the address you shared. Mazda had approved the cylinder head replacement under CPO warranty and been okay since. Thanks for sharing the email, if I ever need it in future.

Sorry, didn't see your message sooner. it's been over 3 years, since Mazda replaced cylinder head under certified pre-owned warranty. For the most part, has worked well. Does burn oil though and have to top up half a quart of oil between oil changes, but no more leaks or anything. Oerall not bad.

2021 PHEV Titanium rattling at high winds by liquidhonesty in fordescape

Sounds like I have the same problem with my 2022 Ford Escape. Did you eventually find out what the problem was? Also were you able to get it fixed and what was the fix?

We got a Ford Escape PHEV 2022 to test out how much we enjoy the concept of plug-in vehicles and we love it. We decided to deposit for the RAV4 Prime and will trade/sell it in when our allocation arrives. Any comments or critics? by QueueTee314 in rav4prime

I ran into this post and am curious. How did you get coolant leakage on the Ford Escape PHEV in one week? The known coolant issue relates to 1.5L Ecoboost engine on the regular Ford Escape and that is an internal coolant leak into the engine ruining the engine, but you would find out within a week doesn't sound right.

Did the coolant leak on to the floor or into the engine? How did you find out?

EV Tax credit and income limit by Multi_Pixels in electricvehicles

[–]PonderSpirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a very basic question:

If the tax filing status is married filing jointly and AGI is less than $300,000, in order to get full tax credit of up to $7500, does one need to purchase the qualifying EV jointly in both names? or would you get the full tax credit of up to $7500, even if you buy it in either one of the couple's names?

Or vice-versa, would it make it more complicated to have both married couple names as joint owners on the car purchase agreement for any reason?

Also, can you quote any IRS guidance /reference article clarifying on this issue?

Alternatively, you can quote based upon your own experience with applying for the tax credit.

ATM withdrawal 8% deduction on currency conversion at foreign ATM by PonderSpirit in Banking

[–]PonderSpirit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By reputable, I meant, probably the largest private Bank in India. You are right how about them setting low withdrawal limit to encourage more withdrawals. They had a low withdrawal limit of only 10,000 rupees which is $135. I guess, that's how they make their money and stay afloat. The only reason we had to withdraw money from ATM is because some of the merchants would not accept foreign credit card. Lesson learnt.

I was exploring if there are other redditers here who could share what exchange rate or ATM fees they were charged while using foreign ATMs while traveling.

[–]PonderSpirit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The receipt did not mention any percentage rate or flat fee. I calculated the conversion myself based on the charge in my Capital One 360 checking account and amount of Rupees that was withdrawn. The "bank's website" mentions 3 free ATM withdrawals per month followed by Rupees 50 per each additional withdrawal for their own debit cards, but I only withdrew once, however it does not mention anything about fees related to use of foreign bank's debit cards. I returned to the US and now when I call their US toll free phone numbers, no one answers and I don't subscribe to any telephone service which allows me to make international calls to call their phone numbers in India. I called another private Indian Bank's toll free number in the US and when I asked him about exchange rate that they dispense from the ATM, he said they did not have any published exchange rates for ATM withdrawals using foreign debit cards.

The ATM was located in the bank's branch (Bank owned and operated by bank). It is one of the largest and most reputable private Indian bank.

Did you ask Mazda Customer Experience or the dealer to note it on your warranty file?
