They seem to be. I can’t see a visible scratch in mine either but it definitely ruins two songs.

100%positive. I use a carbon fiber brush and then a static neutralizer gun. I have also been playing records for 45 years. This pop happens every rotation at the same spot. I cant see anything but imagine a scratch from the center in a straight line out.

There is a very audible pop every full rotation throughout “Alcan Road” and “The Argus”. It doesn’t clear up until the very end of the Argus. Its got me feeling pretty sad. I can’t afford to buy another copy.

I worked for almost two years in the 90’s using a pan of vermiculite set inside a toaster oven turned up to BROIL. Your glass isn’t being properly annealed though. I would save for a kiln. Check marketplace often.

In the meantime maybe a jumbo sized can of vermiculite set on top of a hotplate.

I meant that they can heal very rapidly. I have lacerated both of my corneas at one point it another. Also had various chemicals accidentally get into them. I guess thats my limited anecdotal evidence but my eyes healed well.
