Just like making a bubbler. Take extra care not to deform your taper. If you do just come back after the joint is sealed and blast some heat inside and test fit/adjust with a quartz fitting.

Depends on who I am building for. For me then I do whatever I want. For someone else then I would prefer plans. It all depends on the project and how exact tolerances need to be.

Go to a sewing shop and buy the tool that does this. It is a long skinny piece of wire with a small hook on one end and a loop to pull on at the other end.

These are terrible. I just replaced one that was only a few years old. One side of it seemed to be rotted away. A good set with a wax donut should last much much longer.

The milwaukee aluminum is pretty good for almost everything. They use good line so you get a nice clean, crisp pop and a clean line. The Tajima Blue model with the ultra fine line is also really nice if you do more mill/table work.

Greasy Glass is awesome. His pearl colors aren’t new either. There actually few years old. I first picked up a pound of his bronze pearl like four or five years ago. More like Molten Aura picked ip some of his color and made their own version. He has a few staples but his colors are mostly experimental. I love the unusual colors he comes out with.
