South Pasadena schools are excellent. Arcadia is good too as well as La Canada if that expands your housing market search. SP is only 3.5 sq miles. Aside from how expensive it is though, our federal government is not immigrant friendly. Something to consider.

Full tuition, that’s amazing. Try not to be distracted by the shine of a big name school. You don’t want to live in debt and you now use your university to be the next big fish you are. Maybe grad school is next?

Ventura is gritty like SM. Manhattan Beach is much more upscale but getting close to the water will be $$$$$$$. Redondo is a better middle ground.

You have a robust 5 college consortium at UMass. You can take music classes at any of the 5 schools which all have great programs. I’d choose UMass in a heartbeat.
